Sadly, my husband and I used to come here regularly for a blizzard date before they remodeled, but now everytime we come they seem to be training someone new. We ordered our favorite, a large turtle pecan cluster blizzard with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chunks instead of chocolate shell and extra pecans. We also ordered a small chocolate cone in a cup. The young girl asked a few times if we wanted the ice cream in a cone, no a cup for my elderly dad. She seemed to be struggling finding everything on her cash register, I had to repeat what we wanted several times and each time she said "a small blizzard?", no large. I was patient as I know what it's like to be learning. Then I saw the receipt and she charged .50 extra for the chocolate chunks and .49 for the extra pecans. We expected to pay extra for the pecans, but have never been charged for the chocolate chunks in place of the chocolate shell. When my husband asked her about it she said it should have been charged. When my husband asked to speak to the manager, the manager never came back and she told him that he should have always been charged for that. Blizzards aren't cheap and ours came out with chocolate all over the outside. It tasted good, but it really put a damper on what should have been a pleasant afternoon treat. Will think twice before...
Read moreThey took my order & my money & told me to pull forward & wait for my order. Then they came out & SURPRISE like usual they were out of cheese curds so they needed to change my order. I said ok then just give me the fries I would've gotten with my meal... They then brought me back my change after charging me for fries!!! 30 minutes later... they bring me my order & I go home. When I get home, I realize it's not 2 large fries like I ordered & they didn't give me my blizzard! So I went back. Talked to the manager who was not sorry at all & told me she could give me a refund or remake my order. So while I waited for the order I called the corporate # which said to call the franchise owner. I asked for the franchise owners # & was given the phone & to a car lot where I left a message but was never called back. The manager never talked to me after I initially talked to her & sent a teenage girl out who was clearly uncomfortable with being put in that position. They mess my order up more often than they get it right & they don't order correctly because they run out of cheese curds more than McDonald's ice cream machine is down. This is a terrible location & Dairy Queen corporate should rethink this...

This DQ is struggling terribly with poor customer service and getting orders out correctly and failing miserably at front end service. Today’s fiasco was so bad it’s soured our going back and they are lucky we didn’t just say “ never mind “ and walk away. We’re pretty understanding people, but this pushed quite a bit too far. This is after waiting nearly half an hour a few weeks ago for an ice cream cone. We sincerely hope this improves but we’re not likely to go back and in a town with few restaurants that is really sad. Corporate is raising prices (according to management it’s due to increased minimum wage and definitely not corporate greed). A box of 6 Dilly Bars are $20. Plus the prices of the food have been increasing in the last several months. The prices are quickly hitting levels that aren’t worth it. It’s sad because we will miss getting these treats.
This was a lovely memory! It seems everyone had the same idea we did, let's go get some DQ. They handled the rush like a boss! Fast efficient and accurate. The service was beyond excellent and with a smile. We will all...
