While traveling through the area, I decided to give a local restaurant a try after seeing it on Uber. I opted for the three meat plate, which is definitely a hearty meal that can easily replace dinner if you have it for lunch. My plate included brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, accompanied by green beans and mac and cheese. The service was excellent, particularly the cashier who was engaging and friendly, making me want to dine in next time. Typically, I find myself using too much salt at restaurants, but here, the flavors were spot on. The brisket stood out as my favorite—tasty and moist. The chicken was also delicious, but the pulled pork was a bit dry for my taste. Fortunately, they offer plenty of BBQ sauce options, and I enjoyed both the spicy and Carolina varieties. The brisket was so good it didn't need any sauce, but the Carolina sauce paired well with the chicken, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick to the pork. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and needed no additional seasoning. The mac and cheese was good, though I think a blend of cheeses, especially sharp cheddar, could enhance the flavor. One minor disappointment was the advertised Texas toast, which was substituted with a dinner roll—not quite the same. Despite this, the meal was worth the visit, and I plan to return before I leave to try the pecan pie.

Went into Dickeys today on Constitution and Marksheffle and let me say I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the food..This was my first time having them and I’ve heard pretty good reviews about them and wanted to try them..The service was great and the place was clean so I automatically thought the food was good be the same..I ordered the 2 for $29 whiz I thought was a good deal..I ordered the ribs, sliced brisket, pulled pork, and the cheddar sausage..with Mac and cheese, potato salad, and fried okra for sides..ALL OF THE MEATS were very dry..like they’ve just been sitting out or just been in the smoker too long..I couldn’t swallow the rib..I wish I was over exaggerating but I’m not..The best thing they had was the potato salad and their okra..I’m very disappointed in the food I received..I would think it would’ve been somewhat good on the count I went there about 1:30 in the afternoon

This Dickey’s BBQ location met my expectations. I didn’t feel like cooking and had not eaten at a Dickey’s in approximately 7 years. I decided to order quite a few items to sample the menu. The meats I recommend are the ribs and kielbasa sausage; I wasn’t very impressed with the brisket or burnt ends. The cabbage slaw, beans and macaroni and cheese were good sides. Overall, this is not award-winning barbecue but it will definitely fill your barbecue fix if that’s what you’re craving. The staff at this location were exceptional, they were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely eat at this Dickey’s again, I will only order the ribs and sausage, and the cabbage slaw, beans and macaroni and cheese sides.

If I could give this location minus stars on customer service alone, I would. I'm a food service delivery driver and I went to this location earlier this evening and pucked up my first mobile order with no issues. Everything went smoothly and everyone was happy. One of the guys even gave me a free sandwich coupon. So, I was thinking about returning tonight even after my shift ended for dinner. Then this happened...I finished delivering that first order and when I came back into the area I was sent another Dickeys order which I happily accepted. I went into the restaurant and there was a very short line of only 2 people. I walked up to the counter and quietly waited for him to finish bagging the order he was working on. He then asked me who I was there for. I gave him the name and all he said was "we're working on that one now". So, I grabbed a seat. I watched them clear out the other 2 customers that were in line and then they were helping another women who walked WELL AFTER I had been waiting. Then this same gut who earlier gave me the free sandwich coupon asks what the name of the order is that I was waiting on and I gave it to him as well. I got the same response as the first guy 4-5 mins prior that "we're working on that one". By now I'm just trying to gage whether the $6 is worth the by now could be 10, 15 or 20 min wait, so I nicely asked if they had started the order, because I hadn't seen them but 1 single item in the bag yet. His response was totally uncalled for. You would have thought that I asked him to kill his dog with the way he was acting. He started yelling that they had people in line and kept yelling thank you for your patience" like an idiot. I tried to explain that the only reason why I asked if it was started is that I was trying to gage a time to see when it might be ready for pick up is all. Then, some younger kid who I can only imagine is "the manager" steps up and says...we need to also have you call the customer because we are out of 2 items on there order. And I'm thinking....you've known this the whole time that I've been waiting and you're just now saying something? These 2 guys need to be retrained in their customer service skills. I have no idea what kind of run ins the one guy had with food delivery drivers in the past....but regardless, to fly off the handle like that is totally uncalled for. I ended up reassigning the order due to their incompetence. AND I marched out, grabbed that free sandwich coupon from my car and tossed it on the counter and let the guy know know that his actions were unnecessary and inappropriate and because of his attitude I don't want his coupon as I will never eat at Dickeys and I also advised that I am leaving a bad review. Besides, Bird Dog BBQ off of Tutt Blvd and Stetson Hills Rd has better food and FRIENDLIER staff!! DONT EAT HERE FOLKS!! I am somewhat silently boycotting Dickeys and posting on social media about this experience and telling all my friends, neighbors and family in the Colorado Springs Area, not to eat at this...

Spent almost 70 dollars here. I ordered it togo, when I got home everything except the okra was cold. The cheese was not even melted on my sandwiches. Baked potato had unmelted cheese and was barely warm. My sister got the Buffalo chicken stack and a couple pieces were still pink in the middle. The 2 Cuban sandwiches were not warm at all. Bread was even cold and like I said the cheese was not melted. Keep in mind I live a mile and a half away. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to my house. The food did not sit long at all. I went back to try and get my money back and I was told unless she(the manager) sees something she will not do anything for me. She was very rude and refused to even look up the transaction, Because she was "busy".she wanted my name and number so she could call me back. She also did not wear a name tag. For being a manager, she is extremely unprofessional. She had an attitude with me and was very confrontational. There was no hospitality or apology, She was not accommodating in any sense of the manner. The customer is always right. I proceeded to look through the trash for my receipt just behind the counter, and was told I could not do that. She made no effort to be helpful or allow me to look through it to find it. Being I paid in cash and actually gave them a tip, they could not just look up my card info. I was also told by her, as manager, she did not have to give me her name. All I wanted to do was get a refund for subpar food. She is now ignoring me. I have been in the food industry for 15 years,am a head chef and GM of a restaurant. if I ever had a "manager" or anyone else act that way, they would fired on the spot. Absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning again. I recommend that no one eat here, as amazing as all the food sounds, you would have better luck going to subway or just making it yourself.

*the manager threatened to call the owner on me, as to intimidate me. I told her, please do. She then disappeared again. after sitting there for 50 minutes, one of the employees came and talked to us (my sister and I). She was extremely sweet and had great customer service. Her name was Katie. 2 thumbs up to you Katie! Maybe you should be manager! All in all, I will not be returning. I am happy to have finally gotten a refund. I do hope to hear from the owner. I was very impressed with Katie. It was like night and day with service between the her and the...

By far the worst Dickey's location. I believe their business is struggling and that is because the manager is an awful woman. I went in on a Friday evening because it is very close to my home. I ordered a family meal that came with a pound of meat and two sides, to go. I asked for brisket, mac and cheese, fried okra. The woman who took my order had a very unpleasant demeanor and almost seemed annoyed that I was ordering. My son and I waited for quite some time. There were two other people in the entire place. Finally our $31 meal was ready. When I got home, I found that there was no barbecue sauce in the bag and I recieved French fries instead of fried okra. The French fries had an odd burnt smell to them. I called and spoke with the same woman. Again, she was annoyed but said if I came back, she would correct my order. She was very petty and said to bring the French fries back and I told her I gladly would. I went back to the restaurant with my 3 yo. We walked in the door and saw the manager's sour face. She again handed me a container of French fries. I explained AGAIN I ordered fried okra. She became angry and huffed and violently slammed the okra into the fryer. I told her that I did not appreciate her ugly demeanor and told her I saw her slam the poor frozen okra. She got red in the face and said she'd had a long day. I told her she should not take that out on her customers. She tossed me a bbq sauce container and directed me to get my own bbq sauce. I told her I would be addressing her behavior. She then went on to give me a couple cards for free sandwiches and some silverware. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to Dickeys. Not even for a FREE sandwich. The meat was dry and the sides were terrible. I would actually feel better about wiping my ass with $30 than spending it at Dickey's BBQ. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Do not eat here, save your money and disappointment. And in the future, I will drive across town and out of my way to Front Range Barbeque, where the food is delicious and the staff is kind...
