Highly disappointing attitude from a manager here, I'm assuming she was a manager because she didn't seem to be doing much when I came in there except she was talking to everybody so I assume she's that kind of a manager, took her a while to notice me and then finally she comes over. The order I picked up had about three drinks two of which were milkshakes one of which had about a half inch of ice cream on top and that is not an exaggeration the entire top was literally covered in ice cream so before I took the order I asked her if she could wipe it up because quite frankly that's unacceptable, why would you hand something like that to a customer or anyone you just want them to have a mess in their car or just have a gross sticky mess on top of their milkshake. After I asked her to wipe it up she gave me a look, rolled her eyes, and was fairly upset about having to do it there's quite a bit on there and took her like three napkins and she still didn't get it all off and then when she finished, she responded with an immense amount of snark and sarcasm in her voice," is there anything else you'd like me to do for you, anything you would like me to clean up for you or get for you." So I told her " hey don't give me attitude it's your mess you made it." She then walked away from me while yelling "GOODBYE". So I responded with " don't be so immature, grow up". And she again yelled goodbye. She seemed like a grown woman but maybe she's used to her Daddy cleaning up stuff for her, that's harsh, but seriously she obviously doesn't pay attention or care to do what she did. Obviously the owner needs to retrain her, maybe explain to her that you just can't leave messes that she makes and expect the customer to clean up her mess when they don't even work for her and they're supposed to be a guest, when you disrespect the delivery driver you're disrespecting the customer. I hope that she is smart enough and mature enough to actually learn from this, but honestly if she hasn't learned these lessons yet she...
Read moreWhile Freddy's is known for burger's, we are fans of the chicken sandwich. (Better than Chick-Fil-A) We went to the location on the south end of Denver for years and it was consistently good. This was our first time here in Monument and we were not diappointed. We order the Grilled Chicken Club and remove the bacon, which isn't usually very good. The chicken is always juicy and tender, the swiss is actual real swiss, not pasteurized cheese substitute, and the lettuce and tomato are fresh and crispy. They use simple mayo, not some oversalted "secret sauce". The bun holds up to the ingredients, the fries are some of the best fast food fries made. But you really have to eat the fries on the premises. If you take them home, they quickly get soggy. Our resident teenager loves the fry sauce on his fries.
This is also usually not a super fast meal. They don't have partially warmed up chicken ready for the final cook, which means it's always fresh. Just plan on a few extra minutes. The service was pleasant, and the dining room reasonably clean. Freddy's standard floor tile is difficult to keep clean, as we've noticed at several of their locations. They should require something easier.
Value - this is good fast food, and everything's gotten more costly. ~ $40 for 2 value meals with tax is about the going rate these days. We'll be back when we need a good...
Read moreWe have always had problems at this location, there was no line at 5:58pm and we didn’t leave until 6:17. We ordered three kids meals, a double burger, cheese curds, and cheese fries with cheese on the side. Not a difficult order. First issue- we checked our food bags at the drive through window after waiting 15 minutes and saw that there was no fries in a kids meal. Young man said they would make them and had us pull around. Second issue- Pull around to wait and check our other food, seeing that we’re missing the cheese fries and that we only got one fry sauce (we requested multiple) and no ranch (we requested for the cheese curds) We ran into the restaurant to get the missing items. The restaurant was completely empty, the only worker working was who seemed to be the manager, everyone else was standing around. Eventually we got the kids fries, cheese fries, two fry sauces and ranch. Cheese fries were not delivered as requested and had very little cheese sauce.
However, everyone was kind and courteous. We often have problems at this location and will leave the drive through because it takes too long (10-15 minutes) We gather that there is a lack of management. After trying the cheese curds- they taste disgusting. cook needs to learn to fry. But the rest of the...
