Terribly rude staff. BEWARE! Menu at the drivethrough is apparently âincorrectâ according to the staff. They have a kids menu with hot cocoa and spiced apple cider. I ordered that for my son, it was supposed to be $2.75 and they charged me $4.15!!!! I also ordered an Americano with a couple pumps of white chocolate and milk. You couldnât taste the coffee at all (Americanos are supposed to have that strong coffee flavor), it tasted like waaayyyy overly sweet milk. I went back through the driveway to have my drink remade and fix the overcharge. You could tell the staff was annoyed that I wanted my drink redone and I requested a refund for the overcharge. They told me they donât have a kids spiced cider when itâs clearly written in their menu, then he told me the menu was out of date and I requested them to honor the pricing they have advertised. At that point he got super annoyed with me and the girls in the back started staring and laughing. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. No other coffee shop would have done this and acted this way. He then âfixedâ the pricing but still overcharged me for the kids apple ciderđĄ. I have a picture of the original receipt, the âfixedâ receipt and the advertised price on their menu. Not to mention my americano tasted NOTHING like one, it tasted like watered down drip coffee with too much sweetener and a splash of milk (and this was the Redo I asked...
Read moreThe coffee is fine. The real complaint is that every time I drive through, I am asked âwould you like to add a tip today.â They started doing this a few months ago. Well, thatâs a pretty uncomfortable situation to be put in for someone who (used to) get coffee there everyday. Of course When someone asks so bluntly, Iâm going to feel obligated to add a tip. But given the fact that the coffee is already 7 dollars give or take, and I would ideally go everyday, constantly adding a tip becomes a hefty monthly expense. This isnât a customary practice. Never have I been asked if iâd like to add a tip at a starbucks or dutch bros, for example.
On one occassion, I said âno thankyouâ as I couldnât really afford to spend more than the cost of the drink. There was for sure a noticeable look of agitation on the workers face. Their demeanor changed and they unemotionally handed me the coffee after a chipper and jubilant greeting.
Please, please, stop asking people if they want to add a tip as you are handling their card! Itâs awkward and most people will say âyesâ to avoid being rude, however many people canât afford to consistently turn a 5 dollar drink into something...
Read moreThe line is usually kind of long but not too slow. The person who takes your order/ gets you your good is always really nice. We've tried 3 different drinks from this location: white chocolate mocha, a regular mocha, and the Chai tea latte. The white mocha is always good. The mocha, which we only got one, was very espresso forward but then mellowed into tasting like an actual mocha. The Chai tea latte has been hit or miss. The first time we got it, it was really good. The second time it tasted like espresso and milk. It was really disappointing. For breakfasts we have tried the sausage egg and cheese burrito and bagel. Both have been very good every time. I have attempted to get the Croissant breakage sandwich and they never have it. Either it sells out immediately or they never have it. I ordered the blueberry Muffin for the first time today and it was really good with lots of Blueberries. Over all, it's pretty solid except for the occasional Chai tea latte disaster and lack...
