Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Colorado

I wanted to review for one specific reason, but I will explain the entire situation. My father and I entered the new Jimmy John’s in Evergreen to grab sandwiches to go. After getting to the counter, I immediately noticed one of the guys on the sandwich line wearing a mask pulled under his chin (while making somebody else’s sandwich). I kindly said, “I hate to be that person, but do you mind wearing a mask while making our sandwiches?” Not only did he roll his eyes at his coworkers, but he then went into the back (I guess to pull it up). While in the back, he yelled/screamed so loud that everyone working stopped and stared. While we are in the midst of the highest COVID cases, I would hope that the new shop would make sure the correct guidelines are in place. I would have had no issue if he just put his mask on, but to throw a tantrum in the back was not only unnecessary, but also...

Another bad situation, got faulty sandwich. Got home (15 miles) and found sandwich lacked paid for, extra meat and cheese. Called and spoke to manager who told me to bring sandwich back to prove to him, said he made sandwich and the customer (me) was wrong. I expected an apology and possibly a free sandwich for their mistake. I asked for a free sandwich and was told No ! This sad review is another example of an unprofessional run operation, similar to other poor reviews. Who would take the time to lie about a $12.00 sandwich if it was not true? I was a 2-3 year repeat Customer! Was! Leaving inexperienced young people in charge, can really hurt...

We visited Colorado with three kids under 5 in tow. We needed a place to stop after a long flight, rental car pick up and trip out of Denver. We stopped in the town of Evergreen and we’re so happy to see a favorite of ours - Jimmy John’s! We didn’t use the drive thru because we wanted to get the kids out of the car but that seemed like a solid perk! The staff inside were super accommodating and helpful. My oldest daughter kept saying how great the smell of fresh bread was and she loved her sandwich :) The owner came by and said hi and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a great stop.
