KFC — Restaurant in Colorado

Update - 09/25. This place continues to disappoint. We've been here a few times over the last year and it's consistently poor. I had chicken fingers to day with fries. The fingers were not good - overly salted, overcooked and with an inconsistent breading that was crispy in areas and chewy in others. Where the chicken was thicker it was cooked OK, but where it was thinner, it was tough and stringy. The fries were inedible. Obviously they had been sitting for awhile and were tough as shoe leather - yummy. My wife had a two piece and said it was "OK". Hardly a ringing endorsement.

They almost never get our order 100% correct, and the staff really doesn't seem to give a crap.

They really need to go to Caine's and get an education on how to run a chicken restaurant! If there was a Caine's in Monument, this KFC would be out of business in a month.

08/24 Being a brand new location, I will give them props for getting the food out quickly and according to recipe. The food was good, and we'll be back - for take out only.

My big knock with this place is that it is FREEZING in the dining room. We went once and had to eat outside in a small gale. 2nd time, we wanted to eat in, but it was literally ~ 60 degrees. I asked the person behind the counter, and he went over to the t-stat and said: "it's 71, I'll turn it up a couple." I get it can be hot behind the counter, but you can't have guests sitting in a fridge while they are comfortable. Restaurants like that need two HVAC systems - one for the workers and one for the...

I never leave bad reviews. I usually just suck it up and go on because everything isn't always perfect. But I have to say tonight's experience was absolutely horrible. I am a healthcare worker and work crazy hours. I didnt want to cook and ordered door dash from the KFC in Monument. Door Dash was great. They arrived there on time as I could track it all. I got alerts. The door dash driver had to wait almost 30 mins (7:04pm-7:30pm). Order was placed at 6:43pm. Roughly an hour total but I had a big order. Totally understand. Door dash driver said they told her it was for fresh Biscuits. I live 5 mins from this location. When we got our food, EVERYTHING but the Biscuits were cold. My chicken bucket was so drenched in condensation that the chicken was falling apart and soggy. I paid for a large coleslaw and got what looked like half of a small portion. The chicken nuggets looked very old. The fries were cold and sticking together. Also like they werent fully cooked either. We had to take the soggy chicken and coleslaw back but I dealt with the nuggets and fries and just kept them. After we brought that home and started eating the coleslaw, there was a half dollar size of plastic in the coleslaw. Looked like the plastic that comes off the tops of the lids. I paid $120 for this dinner tonight for my family and it was just terrible. I get stuff happens but this was uncalled for. I know this doesn't matter because you will always get business but I will not be dining with this...

We wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful experience we had at your location today while ordering an 8-piece meal. We had driven down from Castle Rock, which is about a 30-minute trip, and we are so glad we drove down. All the staff members Nathan, Jasmine, Katie and Connor were exceptionally welcoming. The restaurant was clean and inviting, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. What truly impressed us was how attentively the team ensured that our food was fresh and hot for the drive home. Once we arrived home, our meal was still delightfully hot and fresh, just as we had hoped. A heartfelt thank you to everyone working today! Growing up in the South, KFC holds a special place in our heart, and today’s experience brought back so many fond memories. Please keep up the amazing work; it truly makes a difference.
