Update from 6 weeks later: Stubborn pregnant woman here was really craving a Zesty Lady Liberty pizza. Husband rolled his eyes because he knew the waiting saga that was about to occur, but I reassured him that because there was no dining in the restaurant, that tonight would be different.
Order placed online at 5:30 for a 6:30 pickup. Arrive at 6:30 to 20+ people waiting for their pizza. The hostess took my name down and told me to wait. The front entrance way had 8 people already waiting, and then people along the window MAYBE 3 ft apart. Because I’m pregnant, I didn’t want to be that close to others, so I waited outside in 15 degrees for my pizza. At 7:07 my pizza was finally ready. I hate to admit it, but my husband was right again.
I feel like they don’t even start to make the pizza until you show up to check in. I’m glad the restaurant is still busy, don’t get me wrong. The pizza is delicious, it’s just absurd that they can’t figure out how to manage demand, when other busy restaurants in the area have it figured out. If the pizza isn’t going to be ready for the time slots available online- don’t have that time as an option.
See you again in the summer when we can safely and comfortably eat on the patio and I can enjoy a beer or two, while we wait forever for our tasty pizza. ———————— Love the pizza, hate the service. We've been so disappointed with the service in the past couple months. We'll place an order online, and have to wait a ridiculous amount of time beyond the "promise" time, after we arrive. Last week it was 25 minutes, tonight it was 45, and it wasn't even busy - what gives? After we got our order home (5 minutes away) the pizza and wings were both cold, like they had been sitting out for a while in the kitchen. I absolutely love the food, just hate the recurring terrible carry out service. Doubt we'll be...
Read moreVisited on 4/15/2021 a little before 3pm to be a part of happy hour and by 6:30pm I was told I was no longer allowed service. When my service had been cut off I asked the bartend why she replied she does not need a reason why. In the course of my three and a half hour visit I had consumed 3 beers and a pretzel. 1 beer per an hour and yet I was getting cut off. When my family arrived everyone of course made their orders while consuming multiple drinks. So much so they consumed more alcohol in a shorter period of time than me and yet I was the one cut off. When I asked to speak with a manager the bartend responded by yelling at me because I was asking for a clarification why I was being denied all services. When the manager took over I again ask for clarification as to why I was being cut off on ALL services the manager said she had no explanation to why. The only response I got from the manager was she was backing her bartends decision. I feel like I was denied service either because of my race or because our table was not ordering enough food and drink beverages. Around 5 business started to pickup, so much so they went to a wait list for seating. I feel this interaction was more of a race discrimination because none of my family was cut off, yet they were drinking more than me in a shorter time period. In my family I am the only person who is Hispanic, I was the only person denied services combined with no...
Read moreParry’s pizza was great when we ate in restaurant and overall had a good (almost great) experience. We were definitely going to be repeat customers. One weekend afternoon, starving while cleaning at home, I was craving a good sandwich which I know Italian pizza restaurants typically make a great sandwich. In reviewing DoorDash I came across Parrys thinking they were a great option and I hadn’t tried their sandwiches yet! I finally settled on one of the “Featured Meals” which was the Upstate New Yorker sandwich and the picture was very appealing!! When I finally received my delivered, excited to eat, this is what I opened the box to (see picture). The curly fries were incredibly over seasoned and the sandwich was no where near the picture or description. There was one and a quarter chicken tenders, thick hard bread (not a hoagie-type roll as originally pictured), and a measly distribution of sauce and cheese. The sandwich was honestly inedible and I threw away.
Edit: Although I was very shocked and disappointed by this I wanted to share my experience not only for customers but for management to help improve their quality standards and apologize (and maybe give them another chance). After two months of this review being public, I still have not received a response from management. Very disappointing, but will keep my rating at two stars due to my first experience and the awesome server we had...
