Reservoir Brewing — Restaurant in Colorado

As a weary traveler, I stepped into Reservior Brewing and found a magical, hoppy oasis. Both bartenders with cordial and the female of the two was downright effervescent. Needless to say, the esthetic and vibe was very welcoming. Heck, even the barflys were affable. Two bar sirens even convinced me to get the grilled cheese, promising me it would be best the best grilled cheese...ever. The male bartender backed-up that ascertion. Dubious, I accepted the tattooed sirens challenge and damn-it if it wasn't the best grilled cheese ever even though I disappointed everybody with my selection of ham vice bacon. Was the beer good? You bet. Was their merchandise selection perfect via the selection of Richardson 112 frame hats? Hell yes. Did they have stickers, the true sign of a well-run brewery. You bet. Simply put, this brewery does everything right and every other brewery should pay attention. The only thing that disappointed me was that the bartenders said occasionally there is a crazy guy that wanders up and down the street, sometimes with nunchucks and sometimes with a plastic sword. I have to say this is the most friendly brewery I've been to so far. Mike and Gary were terrific and made everyone feel welcome, excellent awareness of their customers needs and desires. We only had beer, but it was terrific and their Chile beer was very smooth and did not linger. They even let try some of their in-process beer (a white Belgian) and were very modest (it was terrific and I wasn't the only person there that felt that way).

Loved this place. The owners are very down to earth. Great selection of beers. If you're not sure what you might like, just ask. They let you sample the different brews. They have a small menu of appetizers and sandwiches. The sandwiches are fantastic and don't make you so full you can't have another beer! Try the coleslaw too!
