Rocky Mountain Wraps — Restaurant in Colorado

Sept 2024 Update: My first review was 5 years ago so felt I needed to send an update. I have lived in the community for 20+ years and always support local business BUT, I won't give a positive review unless it is deserved. I have been coming back to RMW now 4-6 times per year and still find the food, quality and staff to be great. Keep in mind some of the reviews citing wait times are very likely because the food is popular and handmade. I would much rather have to wait for top quality food that is house made. So for the commuters headed to the mountains that want super fast service and inferior quality, keep eating at McDonalds.

This local business also hires our local students and community members supporting our close community.

Had an unfortunate experience where the food I ordered was so small in quantity that I drove back to the shop after it was delivered to have it corrected only to find out it was correct as-is (I legitimately thought they left out all the salad of my greek salad). The woman showed me the menu and she was right, the food that was in my container was all there, but it was $8 for about a cup of vegetables. I made a comment that I felt it was overpriced for the quantity and the woman said "but it's delicious." I was a little disappointed she made no effort to make sure I was leaving satisfied. With this said, the food was good and my husband's wrap was good. The pita was very good and the filling was great. Took away one star for exceptionally small portion and another for no effort to serve me better as a customer. Looks like others have rave reviews so maybe I'll be impressed on...

Hopefully, in sharing my experience, I can prevent some children and families from an uncomfortable experience. I ordered the Nashville and the Caesar wraps and waited an absurd amount of time for how few people were in there. It was just myself and one other person and we both sat 20 minutes while the cook, possibly owner, was yelling in the back. Very strong language was used and he degraded two other employees in front of all the workers while slamming around the back of the kitchen. I got a slight apology for the wait and wasn't given any napkins, so mine and my husbands wrap got all over us and the car. I will not be returning. Very overpriced, unwelcoming, and none of the staff seem to take their job seriously. Most are just hanging out, leaving one or...
