Saucy's Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado

I've normally kept quiet when I pick up my order from here and others are complaining about the service, but I had the worst experience tonight. Ordered online and was surprised pickup was only for 15-27 minutes after order on a Friday night. I come in at the 27 minute mark and there's an elderly gentleman who was told his order wasn't ready. He asked for his money back. The next guy in front of me was told it would be 15 more minutes. I was also told that my online order would be another 15 minutes. I then saw 5 more customers come in and be told their order would be delayed. I went back into the restaurant 15 minutes later, and my order was ready. I came home and start to eat the mozzarella sticks and they were ice cold on the inside and the breading wasn't crispy at all. We also had to put the pizza in our oven to finish cooking. If I wanted this experience I would have traveled a few miles down the road and picked up something from Papa Murphys. Fix your online ordering platform and use realistic pickup times. I want to point out the excellent customer service I received! The manager and the young lady who answered the phone were both patient, polite, and professional……even though I was frustrated when I called. I had ordered food from Saucy’s through DoorDash and selected the buy-one-get-one-free pasta special, but only one arrived.

I immediately called the store, and the manager didn’t hesitate to make it right. He offered to have the missing pasta delivered right away and kindly suggested that in the future I order directly from the store to avoid errors and even get a better price. The replacement food was delivered quickly, and the delivery driver was also very nice.

I come here every so often and I have never had an experience quite like this one. I ordered my food and everything was chill. When I got my order, I asked for “utensils” and the person working the register asked if I was talking about “forks”. I just said ‘yes’ and got 3 forks for my calzone. I’m 25, am I old for asking for utensils? I can understand that. What I’m not sure about, is the fact that I found wood in my calzone. It was like my second bite in and there were two pieces of wood in there. Maybe I’m a bad Saucy’s customer? Idk but the food was pretty solid.
