AVOID AT ALL COST!
The place looked very nice, good music playing and friendly hostess.
Our waitress was super friendly and brought out some fancy chips and salsa as well as something they said was fried fish. Seemed like a great start.
We ordered the steak fajitas and camarones a’la diabla.
The fajitas were sizzling when it came out and looked good. It came with a small portion of rice, a small bowl of beans and a dollop of guacamole.
The Camarones a’la diabla had 5-6 butterflied shrimps in a bowl FULL of sauce. They gave the option of 2 sides and we chose rice and a salad.
Everything was well up to this point.
The Camarones a’la diabla was OK, though the sauce tasted store bought. We had asked for flour tortillas and they gave us 2 tortillas. Not the greatest we have ever had but it was edible.
The steak fajitas (see pic) turned out to be very bad quality meat, OVER cooked and GREASY! In fact there were only a few pieces that we could actually eat. When I mentioned this to the waitress she immediately offered to take it off our check, which I thought was fair and was glad they offered it. However, when the check arrived, I noticed they had charged us $5 for the side of rice, $5 for the beans (which we barely ate as it was not good), and $3 for the 3 corn tortillas! So, while she said she would take it off the check, she still charged us $13 (out of the $28 menu price)!!!!!!!
While the service seemed good before we ordered, once we got our food our waitress was no where to be found. We had to wave around to get a refill of water which was finally refilled by another waitress. While I still gave her a 15% tip as she was very nice, I really should not have given the lack of service and the shenanigans with the charge for the...
Read moreProbably my 5th time coming in here and I’m never disappointed. The drinks are cute and really good! The food is amazing as well! The prices are nice& decent nothing outrageous. We had a party of almost 30 and this place was so accommodating and helpful. Of course we called ahead of time to see if they were okay with taking in that many people at once, they politely gave us instructions on how to make the dinner as easy as possible and everything went so smooth. The waiters did an amazing job, exceptional customer service. My entire family was shocked that the place wasn’t filled being that the food, drinks, staff and restaurant representation was great. It’s nice in there, the entire staff is super professional. One of our guest ordered a steak it was a little too undercooked for him, the last thing we wanted to do was come off rude asking if they can please cook it just a little more but man! The young lady helping us out made us feel so comfortable asking if it could go back. When the steak came out again it was perfect and the staff was so nice about it. Of course no one is perfect but like I said above they were very accommodating. I read other reviews and 3 stars were left for one thing not being up to their standards. One inconvenience should not define the entire restaurant and their overall rating. People suck at reviews. Thank you so much for allowing us to host my cousins graduation dinner here. We will continue to refer more people. Hope this small business continues to grow here in the...
Read moreThey took too long to make the drinks and to bring our food out. They didn't have many customers, with us there it was no more than 30 and we were 6. Only 4 of us ordered, and we got the same thing. For food, I got the ceviche tower. The pictures in the menu make the food look big. At a glance, the tower was a little small. Once you dig in, it's a decent amount for the $$. For my taste, I didn't like it. It said the shrimp was "cooked in lime juice", either they used lemons, or they didn't let it sit long enough, so the shrimp was pretty raw. No big deal, it is supposed to be raw-ish, but the sauces N seasonings they used were my least favorite. It was sweet to me. I ended up putting way too much limes and salt. Presentation wise, it was well put together. I just didn't take a picture before I crumbled it up to eat it . For drinks, I started with a Piña colada. A little on the sweet side did not really taste the coconut, and there were chunks of ice. Drinkable, but I've had better. For my second, I believe I got what they call M ojito sliders and OMG they were the cutest little drinks. It came with 4 different flavors. Original, a berry (my favorite), a mango and strawberry. I could barely taste the alcohol and they were a little sweet but good. But I love the presentation the most. (Although my drinks were served on what it looked like a small wood cutting board. I guess they ran out of the original little tray) they lit up one of those magic flares...
