Everyone raves about your fish, so of course I go in and get a grilled cheese sandwich LOL! I did have a piece of fish that my friend shared with me and YUP! Yummy! I do have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my grilled cheese though :)
We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive without being intrusive (perfect!). Food arrived quickly and hot, and drinks were offered at appropriate times (not three sips in like some places).
Two small pieces of constructive criticism, NOT dealbreakers. 1) I like a glass or two of wine with dinner but all you had was split size offerings of a truly horrible "vintage". I get that wine is probably not a big seller, but maybe have a choice of something of a higher quality? I'm willing to pay more for a better wine.... 2) I was a little taken aback to be charged for a side with my sandwich. I got cottage cheese. I wouldn't really have thought twice about the charge except that I literally got a tiny dish with about 3 tablespoons in it. At least fill the dish up?
All in all, I enjoyed myself and my food and I will be returning. Next time I'll have the fish, but the time after that I may go for the grilled...
Read moreI was driving through Columbia City and needed a quick bite to eat for lunch. I turned to google maps and 11th Frame was presented as one of the top rated spots. It did not disappoint. The lunch menu featured this hand breaded tenderloin sandwich and fries for $8. With a drink and tip I got out for appx $15.
The sandwich was delicious. The tenderloin itself was hot and juicy. The breading on the traveling was light, flavorful, and fried to perfection. The curly fries were crispy and well seasoned. 10/10 would recommend this lunch special. I saw that an "all you can eat fish dinner" is featured daily and would be interested in returning to trying that at some point. Thanks for a great...
Read moreAs I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Sam, a new hire waitress. She poured a great Jack and Coke. Had a great conversation with Kyle, the bar manager. Admittedly, the place was dead at 4:30 pm, but was promised to liven up as bowling leagues were scheduled to pull in. Both 6' Valley pool tables are level enough with good felt and rails. The one furthest from the bar being choice. The AMI jukebox has great selection and is not obnoxiously loud, unless it needs to be. Also, the bar is non smoking, which even as a smoker, I see as a plus. The Cod smells delicious! Stop by,...
