Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Columbia Heights

I recently visited the Jimmy John's in Columbia Heights and had a pretty good experience. This time, I decided to try the number nine, the Italian Night Club, with extra oregano. It was a great choice! The sandwich was expertly made, balancing the flavors of salami, capicola, ham, and provolone with a generous sprinkle of oregano that added a delightful herby punch.

What impressed me the most was how quickly my order was ready. Despite opting for the drive-through, which can sometimes be a slower option, my sandwich was prepared and handed over in no time. It's clear that when they're on their game, the staff here can whip up orders with impressive speed.

However, it's worth noting that this hasn't always been my experience. There have been occasions when the service was slower than expected, even when the store didn't seem busy. This inconsistency is the only reason I'm holding back that fifth star.

Overall, my visit to Jimmy John's was a positive one. The sandwich was delicious, especially with the extra oregano, and the service was notably swift. I'll definitely be back, hoping for the same speedy...

Since I'm not an idiot, and I know that there are certain things the employees can't control (i.e. their delivery area, menu prices, delivery fee, etc) I'm going to review on what I received from the STAFF. I ordered online during the middle of what I'm assuming is their dinner rush. The website was pretty straightforward and I had my order placed in less than 5 minutes. Now let's get onto my expectations...It's dinner rush, so between that and the rush hour traffic it's roughly a 7-8 minute drive to get to my house (if you aren't speeding...) I'd say roughly 4-5 minutes to get to my order (assuming I'm not the only one that ordered...) Another 2-3 to make it, and then the 8 to get to my house. Tack on an extra couple of minutes for the driver to get their bearings, make sure it's the right building, etc (I deliver pizza, so I know the drill...) I was expecting my food to be here in roughly 20 minutes. Sure enough, on the dot, guy shows up in 18 minutes at my doorbell, as always.

I ordered the club Tuna today, when I got home and opened my sandwich I saw that there's less meat on this sandwich than what the regular sized sandwich should have. These sandwiches are expensive already for what you get, so I feel ripped off. I attached a photo of my sandwich next to the description for reference - I don't need it to look the exact same but c'mon now.

-Edit: I'm updating my review after the sarcastic response by the owner. Clearly in my photo there's barely any tuna on the sandwich. You can clearly see that for a sandwich that's supposed to have double portions, that this was incorrectly made. I wasn't planning on coming back to this location anyway, but the owner's response cemented that decision. A bologna sandwich would've filled me up better and would've been a better value than what I got. The owner here should take note of why his location has lower stars than other spots, they clearly have poor management and customer...
