Bucky's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbia

Under the American Disability Act of 1990, all businesses have to be handicapped accessible and this place is not for people in wheelchairs. My family thought about eating here today but we couldn't because my mother who has been handicapped since birth with Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound, could not enter this place because there is no curb for a wheelchair and there was also a large trash can very close to the front door making it impossible for a person in a wheelchair to get by. My dad also went inside and asked a waitress if the place was wheelchair accessible and the waitress said no. He then told the waitress it's supposed to be because it's the law. I go here now for my meat and three bc Kathys doesn't have a good cook anymore. The food is ok, the older short blonde head lady preparing to go plates. Is simply rude, she refused to fix my plate and totally ignored me standing there bc I was on the phone. She needs better customer service skills. Some people work by phone and I was working and grabbing lunch at the same time. Which should never interfere with her doing her job. HELLO, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TODAY!?! Would have been more appropriate regardless of what a customer is doing. Especially if they are looking at you waiting to be acknowledged.

Usually we have a very nice time at Bucky's. It's very good food and usually good service. However, one of the young waitresses the one with brown hair and a ponytail was talking non-stop about personal gossip that was nobody else's business, and she stalled our order. She had our food in her hand and was still gossiping with the other waitress then finally she went to the bathroom and never came back. My wife had to use the restroom, the older head waitress was really upset to to discover that she was on her phone in the bathroom! Very bad service! Eddie (Bucky), should be informed of all this.
