new cat cafe in the area! we have been desperately waiting for them to open! 12 healthy and fun cats - not for adoption but very cute. it’s new so the staff seemed a little unsure/non-communicative with each other so i think they are still figuring out their flow/working through their kinks. matcha is listed under hot drinks but they have not yet corrected to include on the cold menu which is available per staff. pastries were good. i got the brownie which was good but prepackaged. a bit expensive though - i get that it is a lot to maintain cats and their environment but i also don’t think the price is worth a prepackaged pastry when it’s not made in house. there should be more seating available as well for people waiting to go in and hang out with the cats as there is just one small bench. a lot of the waiting area is filled with cat merchandise like shirts/purses/large stuffed animals… i think it would benefit from having a smaller area for merch and more seating as most people are there for the cats/food/drinks, not merch. parking is also extremely difficult as a lot of it is on a slope/some spots aren’t paved and there is not a lot of room to turn into spots when it’s full as they’re very close to the building. owner/staff is also over at noma down the street and they’ve always been great overall so i have no doubt this place will improve as business continues. i hope i can come back and give a 5 star review...
Read moreWe recently visited a lovely cat café and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner and staff, all of whom were incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. The environment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed to ensure both the comfort of the cats and the guests.
There were plenty of soft spaces to sit and relax while enjoying a drink, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The cats were well-socialized and seemed happy and healthy. They freely roamed around, interacting with guests on their own terms, which made for some sweet and spontaneous moments.
My daughter absolutely loved the visit—she was so excited to meet each of the cats, and the staff made her feel special, answering her questions and encouraging gentle interaction. They even helped her learn the names and personalities of the cats, which made it a really engaging experience for her.
The drinks and snacks were great too, with a good variety to choose from. You can tell a lot of love goes into this place. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and heartwarming outing, especially...
Read moreActually amazing. The cats were so sweet and amazing. My favorite cats were Precious, Ishtah, MishMish, and Roxy. But none the less, they were all adorable. The people there were some of the kindest people I've ever met. One of the owners gave me and my friend a free thing each, and it was SOOO kind of him. I got the cutest little brown bag with a cat on it, and my friend got black cat earmuffs. His wife was so sweet too too, and pulled out some cat nip toys. The cake is soo nice and moist, amazing atmosphere too. The coolest cat towers. We also got to see the cat feeding area that only the staff and cats can go into. Lucky us, my friends mom is the vet for all the cats. Such gorgeous, playful, and sweet cats. All the cats are "feral" and taken care of. I love that because they are buying the cats, but rather giving them a new better home. Before you go, make sure you know how to pet the cats so they don't scratch you lol. I've seen some crazy behavior towards cats, so be careful with them please! I def recommend this place as a owner of 9 cats, and 14...
