This is a nice little coffee shop pretty close to downtown Columbia, South Carolina. We were driving through the city, stopped in, and were pleasantly surprised with the cute decor inside! Despite the outside (and surrounding area) honestly not looking the best, it’s like you’ve stepped into a hidden gem when you walk inside Indah! We ordered an iced Thai coffee and an iced tea. The iced tea was excellent - really unique flavor and definitely something we’d get again. Easy 5/5! It’s a refreshing change when so many other places just make the same old boring black sweet tea! However…unfortunately, the iced Thai coffee wasn’t that great. It was honestly like a 2/5. Having visited Thailand several times before, Thai coffee is supposed to have a lot of sweetened condensed milk (making it a very sweet drink, which was what I was craving); though, there was very little sweetened condensed milk in it and it wasn’t sweet at all. It just tasted like an iced latte with oat milk and almost no sweetness at all. I just wish the barista told me they either make it differently than a traditional Thai iced coffee, or asked me what how sweet I’d like it - that would’ve helped a lot! She was very nice so I would recommend they do that in the future to (hopefully) gear customers in the right direction. 🙂 I was deciding between that drink and a very unique blueberry/cinnamon iced coffee, which I definitely would’ve preferred had I known the Thai coffee wasn’t going to be like normal. I love unique coffee drinks and they definitely have some great options here at Indah Coffee. The atmosphere is great and it seems like a really good place to meet up with friends, hang out, study, or get some work done while enjoying a drink and snacks. I would be willing to try Indah once again when I’m driving back through Columbia in the future. I look forward to seeing what they have next as a seasonal drink!

As a proud Oregonian, where coffee culture runs as deep as the forests, my expectations for a good cup of joe are admittedly high. So, when a trip to South Carolina presented itself, finding a remarkable brew was not on my radar. That was until a friend introduced me to the hidden gem that is Indah Coffee. From the very first sip, I was a convert; it was, unequivocally, the best coffee I've had to date. The ambiance of Indah Coffee is as inviting as its brews. Its warm, welcoming space became a haven for me and, on a subsequent visit, for my family as well. Their unanimous nod of approval only reaffirmed what I had discovered: Indah Coffee is in a league of its own. The secret to their exceptional coffee, as I learned during a delightful conversation with the owner, lies in a profound understanding and respect for the process. From visiting the very farms where the beans are sourced to mastering the art of roasting and imparting this knowledge to his team, the owner's passion for coffee is evident in every cup served. This meticulous attention to detail and dedication to the craft is what sets Indah Coffee apart. Indah Coffee is more than just a coffee shop; it's a testament to the love of coffee. It's a place where the beans tell a story, the brews are crafted with care, and every visitor leaves with a lingering taste of excellence. As someone who calls Oregon, the land of coffee aficionados, home, admitting that Indah Coffee has stolen my heart is the highest praise I can offer. It's a must-visit spot for anyone in South Carolina, and for me, it's become a staple of every trip. Indah Coffee, you've raised the bar!

I recently visited Indah Coffee in Columbia, and it was nothing short of a beautiful experience. From the moment I stepped into the modern, spacious, and quiet atmosphere, I felt an immediate sense of calm and comfort. The minimalist yet inviting decor made it the perfect spot to relax, focus, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee. The offerings were well-curated, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the high-quality experience provided. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just someone who appreciates a good drink, their menu had something for everyone without being overwhelming. What truly stood out were the baristas. They greeted me with genuine smiles and warmth, radiating a sense of happiness that felt rare and refreshing. It was clear they took pride in what they did, which only added to the charm of the place. If there’s one coffee shop that’s truly doing it right in Columbia, it’s Indah Coffee. Everything about it — from the ambiance to the service to the coffee itself — made for an exceptional visit. I’ll definitely be back.
