Express China — Restaurant in Columbia

I placed a take out order for a small shrimp fried rice. I drove over 20min to get there,picked up the food, drove over 20min back to Garners ferry rd,just to discover that there wasn't any shrimp with my rice. I called and was put on hold for 4min. I explained to the worker on what happened and he put me on hold so he can talk to his manager, he came back and offer to switch my order if i bring back the food,it was already after 9:30 and they close at 10,i told him that i can come on sat which is the bext day because i live too far,long story short,the issue did not get resolved as i was put on hold and the phone hanged up. I called back and got a wonan and told her my issue,she mentioned that they close at and i told her i live too far,so she mumbled something i couldn't understand and hung up the phone. My experience with this place was not a good one,it was TERRIBLE! I will not be going back to this place. They seem to find it easier to hang up on a customer who has an issue with an order that they got wrong instead of...

I've worked in the food industry for years so I understand sometimes there are off times and what not and barely ever say anything but my food just wasn't good. I hadn't eaten there before and wanted to get food for dinner and have it for lunch the next day as well, so I ordered it through grubhub. I Ordered sweet sour chicken(with shrimp fried rice), spring rolls, and beef dumplings. The beef dumplings were very good, I was impressed....but everything else....very disappointed, it was thrown away. :( The rice was so old and hard and had no flavor...chicken was the same way and the spring rolls were soggy. I'll give them a try in a few months just to see if anything changed and I'll gladly bump up my rating if so...but if it was my restaurant...I would like to know so I could fix these things. The dumplings and the sauce are the reason for the 2 stars bc they were the only thing keeping it...

Horrible customer service. I placed an order for my lunch because I work overnight and I didn't get my order. No one called when they were trying to deliver or anything. I called back and they said I couldn't reorder because they returned the money to my card already even though I told them that I had another card. The lady hung up on me twice and barely even let me talk. I kept trying to call back because she hung up in my face and they didn't answer the phone. I've been going to them for years and haven't had problems like this before. Their food is also inconsistent because one time you'll have a decent size wing and the next time you may have a small wing that barely has any meat on it!!! I've been trying to hold on as a customer but...
