The WORST Sonic I’ve EVER been to in ANY State, HANDS DOWN, EVER. I’ve visited here countless times. At least 100 times. Drive thru and pull up. First off, for almost 3 YEARS they say the speaker is broken from time to time and they cannot hear. The drive thru is UNBELIEVABLY, EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOWER THAN SLOW. Several times other visitors behind me have gotten out to see if I’m having car trouble thinking I’m just not pulling forward and vice versa, I’ve thought the same about others in front of me. Time before last that I visited, I timed it. 3 cars in front of me and it was 29 MINUTE WAIT UNTIL IT WAS MY TURN. ONCE I GOT TO THE WINDOW, IT WAS 24 MINUTES - TWENTY FOUR MINUTES WAIT ON AN ORDER FOR ONE PERSON, and the order was WRONG AFTER RECEIVING IT. MOST WORKERS ARE NOT FRIENDLY. THEY ARE NOT NECESSARILY RUDE BUT NOT FRIENDLY. SAYING NOTHING in response to my saying thank you to them etc. HIGH PRICED. RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICED. No value menu that I’m aware of. This location NEVER advertises specials unlike the Campbellsville location. Stays busy here that’s why I think they get away with taking as long as they do and not being friendly they just don’t care because they know they’re gonna get business regardless. During COVID it was not unusual to pull up to the drive-through and there just be a note that states sorry we had to close early no employees to work. I really think that this location could be better but the staff or maybe the management lacks motivation. As far as the food, it’s warm and quality most of the time. Although if you ask for a special request on the milkshakes like the strawberry milkshakes you cannot suck through a straw because the strawberries are much too thick so if you ask for an extra blender, a lot of times you ask them if they did it they will tell you they did but upon pulling off to find out that they in fact did not. I’m sure they will know who I am now that I added that about the shakes. Hopefully I will not face any form of retaliation for speaking the truth. All in all the food is good, it’s pricey, be prepared to stay for an extended period of time if you choose this location. There’s not someplace that you can just rest through if you’re in a hurry. Read moreThis is absolutely the very worst Sonic I've ever been to! For one, the hours posted are not correct. It says that they are open until 10:00 PM everyday, but if you get there around 9:53PM, they'll tell you "We take last order at 9:50." But....you're open 'til 10:00 PM according to the hours you have posted. This has happened to me twice in the last 2 weeks! I understand that they can close whenever they'd like. Just seems like you should give customers a heads up and post the actual hours that you are open. If you close at 9:50 PM, your signage should reflect that, not 10:00 PM. Staff is rude. Hanging out in the parking lot instead of taking care of customers and cutting out early to do just that. Management doesn't care. I've already complained on Sonic's website, but nothing has changed. There is no manager on duty at night so it's pretty much anything goes after sundown. Another thing. They are ungodly slow here! We pulled up behind another car in the drive-thru that had already ordered and was at the window to pick up. This was at 3:10 PM. I placed my order and waited patiently for the car ahead of me to get their order. 5 minutes later, nothing has happened, no food, drinks, no nothing. 2 minutes later these guys finally get their order. 3 drinks, no food, took at least 7 minutes! It's always like this. Also, they were running the special for the lemonberry creamslush last month, but when I ordered it, they said they couldn't do it because they didn't have the berry topping? This happened twice! Then, when they were running the S'mores shake special, they ran out of the ingredients for that also! I can't wait for DQ to open across the street! I'm about ready to help them build it too if it will help them open quicker. And CookOut will be here soon, too! Cheaper, way faster and all around so much better than Sonic. This place will be gone soon the way...
Read moreAlready called corporate. Went through drive thru on 6/1 pm. I had 2 vehicles ahead of me that placed orders and were waiting at the window. The lady that takes the orders said she would be right with me. After 5 minutes I’m calling out and tapped the horn. The other customers left and I’m still sitting there. Tapped my horn again and got nothing except drive thru window opened. At 10 minutes I layed down on the horn but still no service. Drove to the drive thru window and nobody came to the window. I got out and walked into the restaurant and saw 6 people standing around with nothing to do but talk. The lady that was taking orders said she had to take the orders as received (only 4 vehicles parked) and then tried to say it didn’t beep. I told her she’s lying because she answered it and told me she would be right with me. Reading the other reviews makes me realize this is the standard customer service at this location. The problem is this lady has no customer service skills whatsoever nor does she care. She is there to collect paycheck and socialize.
