I recently had the pleasure of dining at Murry’s, and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. The restaurant itself had a cozy and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal. The attentive and friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food – the star of the show. After hearing great things, I decided to go for the Philly cheese steak, and I'm glad I did. The sandwich was a flavor explosion that tickled my taste buds in all the right ways. The combination of tender meat, melted cheese, and potentially sautéed onions and peppers created a delightful symphony of flavors. The quality of the ingredients was evident with every bite, and it was clear that the chef knew their craft well. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch to contrast the soft and savory fillings. The presentation was also appealing, with the sandwich plated thoughtfully. I'd rate the Philly cheese steak at Murry’s an impressive 8.5 out of 10. It surpassed my expectations and left me craving more. While there's always room for improvement, this dish truly stood out as a highlight of the meal. It's rare to find a place that nails such a classic comfort food item with finesse. Overall, my experience at Murry’s was delightful. The combination of great food, pleasant ambiance, and attentive service makes it a restaurant I'd recommend to fellow food enthusiasts. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxed dining experience, Murry’s has something to offer – especially if you're a fan of a fantastic Philly cheese steak.

A Columbia favorite. Quaint and cozy ambiance. This place is perfect for date night, family dinner, evening with friends.. Dress up or go in casual.. Anything works here. Tables with bar service for while your wait for your table. Our server while we waited was a little snarky; despite asking for water to go with our drinks thrre times, she never brought us any water. Once we got to our table, the evening improved significantly. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Our food was fantastic too. We had cheese bread that was served hot and made with provel. We ordered their green pepper appetizer too.. You would never think deep fried green peppers would taste good with powdered sugar, but low and behold.. They were good ?!?! The burger was really good too. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We also had the Reuben and a French dip, which were awesome. Sides were ala cart but they were sharable size portions. We were expecting a hefty bill, but prices were very reasonable. Their dessert menu is huge. I was bummed they were out of gooey butter cake; maybe next time. Ample parking in a lot out front. We will definitely go back!

I have been coming to Murry’s for over 15 years (started as a student and then continued to return). Where do I start!? 1. Appetizers are SO good and fun to share. Highly recommend the calamari, eggplant fries, onion rings, green pepper rings, and the NEW menu item of brie fries. 2. salads are phenomenal. I always get the Greek. My MIL and friend love the dinner salad too. 3. Sandwiches are amazing and unique. Highly recommend chicken philly, tuna pesto, french dip, oyster grinder. Others love the steak sandwich and hamburger. 4. Dessert- “reserve” your dessert bc there is nothing worse than a server walking up to the dry erase board and erasing what you had your heart set on. I love their crisps, brownies, and gooey butter cake. 5. Random but the best damn white russian you’ll ever have. Murry’s is my all time favorite restaurant and just gives me all the warm feelings. I know people who live in world class cities (Chicago, New York, etc) and tout Murry’s as their favorite restaurant. Staff are incredible. One downside- be prepared to wait for a table.

Found this on google and was exactly what we were looking for. Live music, kitchen open late, affordable options and great food. We had sm. cheese garlic bread, and house salad, delicious and good enough to share for 2. I had the filet kabob with the cheese sauce ( oh my gosh soooo good) with a side of garlic noodle pasta ( prob would try the mashed potatoes next time ) & daughter got lemon pesto chicken. Dirty martini with Tito’s was only $9! Service was fast and friendly. Absolutely love this place. Edit: we have been back three more times now. Usually we stop by and put our name and know it will be an hour or so. They do have a bar and a side room that you can wait and have drinks in. This time we got the steak sandwich which was a huge portion of steak. I just got the appetizer kabobs, which was still plenty of food. Everything is à la carte but it’s still affordable. Will probably be back the next time we visit as well.

Wow it was kinda a let down. Not the same place. Server was ok and forgot a couples of things. The food was good not great or fantastic. Server and bar tender not up to date on what beer and wine they have. That’s kinda your job SMH. Chicken Philly was a huge let down bread was hard and all the chicken and toppings fell off. Some idiot came and started vacuuming while we were eating. First learn your restaurant adequate on someone’s eating you do not vacuum right beside them. Just plan stupid didn’t even say sorry or do you mind. Think I’ll just go to Jimmys Steak House. At least I know what i’m getting. Great food great service and its family. I did not feel welcome here just another person here sit there be right with you. Blah blah.Prob won’t be back so sad and disappointed. The appetizers were good to say the least. The only thing that went right was they had a great bottle of wine.

Talk about a hidden gem restaurant in Columbia we found it. Ambiance was fabulous with low lighting and jazz music playing. They have live music, but I'm not sure if when, I assume you can check out their website for more information. Their menu is really reasonable on everything. We started with Fried Chicken Liver and a Bailey on the Rocks. They didn't have hot chocolate 😒 otherwise for the chilly day hot chocolate, and Baileys is my go-to drink. For our lunch, we both had the Pork Tenderloin sandwich breaded. You can get it grilled, too. All the food was hot along with delicious. We chose the side of garlic mashed potatoes to Spilt, and they are homemade. It was a delightful change thanks to the waiter along with the staff. Again, the ambiance and music made it a fabulous lunch today. Big Shout Out to Murrys, keep up your fantastic restaurant as it's the best in Columbia to me!
