Owner of Semi-Casual BBQ here. One thing I love to do is support our local businesses and communities regardless of what others would deem competitors. Rockys BBQ is the real deal in barbecue. This is what our business model strives to achieve, and when I say the bar is set high, I mean that. Everything I tried was on point to the highest standard. Portion sizes are excellent, and the flavor profiles are out of this world delicious! During my visit, I had their pulled pork with smoked beans, burnt end mac and cheese, and cornbread cake. I ordered the wife takeout cheddar jalapeño links and dill potato salad. Couldn't have been more pleased with our meals. They have a sign posted in the seating area saying, "Good food isn't cheap, cheap food isn't good," and I'll tell you what, people say all the time barbecue is overpriced but don't understand the craftsmanship, and time it takes to put out this high standard of food. Rockys BBQ met all expectations without the feeling of "This was an expensive meal." Thanks again, Rockys. we wish you continued success and hope to learn a thing or two for our own path in the world of BBQ. Tony Semi-Casual BBQ

After a day of antiquing in Columbia, Pennsylvania—home to some of the best antique stores—Rocky’s BBQ was the perfect spot for Sunday lunch. We split the Pitmaster Platter and a side of mac & cheese, and everything was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the flavors really hit the mark. The sausage and ribs were absolutely delicious. The brisket was good too, though I tend to prefer a fattier, melt-in-your-mouth style, as this one leaned a bit on the leaner side with a slightly chipped taste. That said, it was still very enjoyable. The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying our meal. Their hospitality truly stood out. I’d highly recommend Rocky’s BBQ. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to plan a trip back to Columbia PA from DC just for another round. Thank you to the awesome ladies at Rocky’s for a great experience!

Tried Rocky's BBQ for the first time today and man I get why it's so popular and considered one of the best BBQs in Lancaster county. Everything was delicious, the fall off the bone ribs were my favorite. I got the pit master platter which included everything on this plate and I also ordered a side of corn bread, wife got pulled pork and Mac and cheese and cornbread total with drinks was about $51. Employees were so nice and answered any questions we had, I called ahead of time to ask some questions and they texted me the menu and asked what we wanted so they could save it for us before they ran out. Corn bread was probably the best I ever had, crusty outside and moist inside. Make sure to call ahead to reserve your food so you're not disappointed.

First tasted the splendor of Rocky's BBQ at St. Boniface in Ephrata. The food truck was there. I've been meaning to get down to their store in Columbia, evert since! Drive over an hour to get there on Wednesday, only to find out they're closed on Wednesday's! Didn't deter me from driving back down the next day. Boy was I ever glad that I did!!! I ordered the Sparky, which is burnt ends with mac and cheese, and a half a rack of their ribs with the sweet bbq sauce. The Sparky was spectacular!! The mac and cheese was smoky and the burnt ends where juicy and tasty! Excellent combination!! The ribs were just add good! Pulled most of the meat off with just one bite! Excellent smoke ring! The bbq complimented the ribs... not too sweet, just right for me!! I was also extremely impressed with their homemade pickles!! Almost bread and butter taste tti them but not as sweet and much crisper!! I'd make a trip back down just to get more of the pickles!! I felt so fulfilled with my experience that I felt compelled to give the owner the accolades he deserved!!...
