Swanson's Deli — Restaurant in Columbia

This is a neat fast lunch spot located in the Arcade building on main street. The employees are efficient and welcoming, and it has a great vibe. I went on my lunch break and got a chicken salad club sandwich which was a little bland surprisingly, but otherwise substantial. The pasta salad side was tasty but very small and put in what looked like a little sauce cup, so just a couple bites which I thought was odd too, and all in all not worth the cost this time. If I go back I'll try a different sandwich and just get a bag of chips as a side. I can't say enough good things about this place. Fast, friendly, amazing food. At lunch time, the line is out the door, but you get through quickly and get hot, fresh, delicious food just as fast. Customer service is unmatched. My fiance worked on Main St for a while and ate here weekly for several months. The same guy is usually at the register and always remembered his order. Enjoyed my first meal at Swanson's Deli. Had the jalapeno pimento cheese with a side of Pasta Salad and Lemonade. Can't beat the prices. Everything was fresh and good.
