Have so far been to Escapology in Columbia for a number of different rooms, and greatly enjoyed them all! Will definitely keep returning for more adventures! Did "Who Stole Mona?" first, group of two. Had great fun with the heist themed room, though it was difficult at some points with only two people. Next returned for "Mayday" - same group of two, plus a child who likes airplanes. Definitely had some tough challenges, especially toward the end. I feel like this one is good for detail-oriented and pattern-loving people, and probably at least three people. Went for "Antidote" with a group of four, surprising one of the players for his birthday (September 2021). Less real-life science than we expected, but definitely fun! We enjoyed the room setting and interactive props especially. Most recently (July 2022) went for "Lost City" with a group of five (the same four from playing "Antidote", plus one, for her birthday!). Loved how the setting and props all worked together beautifully for solving the puzzles. It was a great adventure! Hit up "Under Pressure" in August 2022 with a group of eight plus two kids - it was a full room! Managed to solve one puzzle without finding its key at all, and barely won the game. Lots of fun, very crazy with that many people! So far we've successfully gotten through all the rooms (some much faster than others), though we did also ask for clues/confirmation/redirection on some occasions. I'll come back and update this review after...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Escapology as part of a girls trip plus my brother. Some of us had done an escape from before but personally I had never been. We had a blast solving the puzzles and finding the clues in the Antidote Room and were able to escape with about 10 minutes on the clock. Meghan (with an H) and Harrison were great game host and master. I also wanted to point out that I had my 7 year old daughter with me in the room and she was a little scared of the dim lighting and background noise/music. While we stood out in the hall of the escape room, one of the other employees (sorry but I didnāt get her name) helped calm her down, took her to get a water and brought her back to the room feeling better. My daughter went on to help us with a clue and felt much better about finishing the game. Overall, if we didnāt live out of town and some out of state we would have booked...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time to an escape room and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. My wife and I chose to Mansion Murder as our game because we wanted something a little more challenging. I love that the rooms are private and we were able to play the game by ourselves.
We were not disappointed. We took to the clues pretty quick, but did have to make use of the three hints we were allotted. We finished the game with exactly two minutes to go. I wish I could forget the solution so I could play the room again!
Our host and game master Reese was awesome! He is a super cool guy and gave us hints that were informative about what we should be focusing on next without giving away too much.
I highly recommend Escapology to anyone who is looking for...
