(New) This hurts my heart to post, although I do LOVE the food, if you can't get what you ordered and have to deal with rampant incompetence, really no point in going here for food anymore... Ordering a just a basic Gyro, no tomatoes (I'm allergic), seems pretty mundane n' easy, the call taker, fairly sure English isn't his first language, BUT!, he REPEATS the order to me over the phone, pick-up, all fine, tip them, even though its a carry out order, get home and blamo, tomatoes and more insidiously, the seeds, all over all of it. I call to inform them (Same guy answers the phone) they messed up and I'm bringing it back and to start on a new one. Get there (Because navigating Sawmill road during lunch time is especially fun) only to have him apologize for his language barrier (Did I mention he repeated the order back to me?) and then tells the Cooks to make it anew, frustrated at this point, I just request a refund. To which I am told they can't do that and a manager will contact me later to resolve the issue. APPARENTLY NO FREAKING manager works on Tuesdays (Still waiting....), so I hope the $11 dollars you STOLE from a 15-20 times a year customer was worth it, I'll never come here again. I'd 10/10 recommend steering clear of this place. (Original) I mean, it HAS been voted best Greek restaurant in C-bus previously for a reason! Eat here more than once a month, never once have I had a less than 5...
Read moreThis place is incredible. First, the wait time for the food is 1hr+ for our group of 4. We arrived at 6.30 and the food still hasn't come at 7.30 (I'm still waiting for my food while I'm typing away). Second, the server who served another table was doing his famous Opa squeezed lemon juice all over my face and the table obviously, and he didn't even noticed it. I had to call another sever over to ask for him to tell him what happened. That's great customer service! If 0 star is an option, I would definitely pick that one. How ridiculous this place is!
UPDATE Our food finally came at 7.45pm. That's 1 hr 15 min wait. Our kids were starving! As a side note, we were supposed to be with a bigger group. The restaurant refused to accommodate by combining tables as they stated that the other angles were reserved by another party. Guess what... we left at 8.30 (that's 2 hours later), their imagery group who reserved the imaginary table still didn't show up! Because they refused to combine our tables, we ended up sitting separately...
Read moreMy wife is originally from Europe, we now live in Dayton, so were hoping for a great evening in a Greek restaurant after driving over an hour to be there. Restaurant atmosphere was very nice and reminded us of when we were in Greece. Unfortunately, the Greek wine list was only 6 or 7 different wines and all were dry and we like semi-sweet. We have more of a Greek wine selection at our local grocery store. This was very disappointing for us since wine is such an important part of a good meal. We thought that this restaurant could redeem itself since we saw on the menu that they offer 2 different kinds of Ouzo for a digestif so we anxiously looked forward to that. Upon completing our lamb shank dinner which rated average though no greens were included such as salad or vegetables (just lamb and rice), we ordered the Ouzo. The waiter informed us they were out of both kinds of Ouzo. We walked away very disappointed since Anna's was not what we...
