Apparently the staff and owners here care extremely little for the safety and happiness of their customer's. My little sister and her friends were beaten up by a woman named Trish. Trish works there but was billegerently drunk, according to staff she was mourning the anniversary of a loved one, and psychotically hauled off and grabbed our friend's head holding her in place before violently beating her. none of the group nor our friend who was beaten said or did anything to Trish to trigger her, she was completely drunk and clearly unstable. there is absolutely no excuse to physically harm someone, even if your son died years ago and you never learned how to greive in a healthy way. she claimed afterwards, as did the staff, that the "altercation" was most likely two sided even though only one person left covered in blood (our small friend who could hardly defend herself even if she had time to realize what was happening). I was utterly shocked at how the staff defended Trish's brutal beating merely due to her greif. Trish, you are a vile, mean person. I didn't know your son and I only know you through this horrific attack on someone three times younger than you, but I'm sure your son would be distraught and disappointed over what you did, and even more shocked when you blamed your actions on his passing. to all the staff who defended her, and the owner if you read this, your entire outlook on safety is shocking and illegal. protecting your own employee just because a few years ago her son died and now she's a raging alcoholic monster who beats your customers to a pulp for asking her to leave them alone? she was creepily coming onto my sister's fiancé and when asked to leave the group alone grabbed the closest, smallest girl near her and completely beat her face bloody, breaking her nose and ripping plenty of hair out of her head. NO ONE has the right to hurt someone and everyone who might visit this location needs to know which side you take when your customers are faced with criminal behavior and physical violence. I urge the owner to do something about this, but if you employ people who act this way I dare say you are likely just as egregious and disturbed a...
Read moreStopped in to Tank's Ironclad Meats today, it's inside of Brewstirs Beechwold Tavern. Ordered a mix of pulled pork, brisket and a couple of ribs. For sides ordered the greens which they were out of. How can you be out of them when you've only been open for an hour. Not good. Also got the coleslaw, cheesy potatoes and baked beans. Coleslaw was your normal creamy coleslaw, smooth tasting sauce. Baked beans were definitely a let down, just your normal baked beans in a little thicker sauce. On to the cheesy potatoes which were the star of the sides. Nice riced potatoes with a mixture of cheese and onions. OMG!!! On to the meats. The ribs had plenty of meat on the bones, a nice smoky flavor to them. The meat would tear right off the bone. The pulled pork was nice and went well with the Kansas City sauce. The brisket was the star of the meats with a nice smoky flavor and being nice and moist. Tears...
Read moreI’m a 15 year Clintonville resident and a regular at the north side are dive bar scene. I went in on a Sunday and Elizabeth was the bartender for the afternoon/evening. I watched as 14 people got served ahead of me twice. The bartender’s name was Elizabeth. She did not greet me or attempt to get me a 2nd or 3rd drink. The owner/manager was there and he watched as Elizabeth complimented my smile after I asked for a 3rd drink. The tacos were fantastic & I love the drink specials. I will NOT recommend coming here when Elizabeth is the bartender. I’ll be back but will leave immediately if any of my friends or myself see Elizabeth as...
