The place was a ghost town, I went in a little after they opened for the day and no one was in the restaurant, no staff, no customers, no body. I heard they did pizza by the slice, but there was nothing in any of their display cases. I don't think I will waste my time by trying to get pizza there again.

Update: Two things: first is this review is legitimate (and it's weird for the owner to reply to a review from six years ago). Second, I stand by my review the place was empty the time I went in and I haven't returned (I also recommend people avoid it due to my poor experience). I'd like to thank the owner for reminding me of my negative experience and I will continue to avoid East Coast Pizzeria and advise others to do the same.

Additional Update: It appears the owner of East Coast Pizzeria doesn't understand customer service and is trying to game Google reviews to remove negative reviews. I'm glad they reminded me of the negative experience I had and now demonstrated the level of customer service they...

Went here for the first time on 01/18/19, great pizza that's NY brick fired style at a reasonable price.

Ordered a 16" Sicilian style pepperoni and onion pizza with spicy sauce (spicy sauce wasn't listed on the online menu, but saw other reviewers mention it).

Also ordered a 6" Italian sub, 6 Pepperoni rolls with cheese, Cheesy bread sticks, and a 14" East Coast White pizza with mushrooms.

Got all of that for $55 which is pretty good. Flavor wise the pizza is a great alternative to all the other Midwest/Ohio style pizza places in Columbus. The bread sticks and pepperoni rolls were excellent as well. Italian sub was good, not great.

If I had to compare ECP to another pizza place it would be Adriaticos. While the pizza isn't quite as good as Adriaticos, it's pretty close. Add in the great sides and East Coast pizza is right up there as a top notch pizza place in Columbus.

I gave them 5 stars because Google doesn't allow decimal points, but if they did my score would be a 4.8.

Will definitely be back...

Excellent business to support in the area. I'm not typically one to leave a review, but after a very positive experience a couple of nights ago I definitely felt the need. There was a small mistake with my order, which I didn't really mind (I was given an incorrect dipping sauce with my carry out order). Disappointing, but not a big enough deal in my book to complain about- mistakes happen. However, a few minutes after finding the issue, I received a call FROM the store, in which they recognized that they made a mistake, and they offered me a discount on a future order to apologize for it. I was pleasantly surprised about that level of customer service, and I respect the accountability that was shown- it's rare to see that type of care and effort these days.

On top of the customer service, the food is delicious. Awesome New York style pizza, and their Philly Rolls are excellent. I...

This is the second time trying out East Coast Pizzeria I ordered a veggie pizza a couple of years back and remembered it wasn't anything to write home about and decided to give them another chance with a simple cheese pie and philly sub. I'm not sure how this pizza is even considered a "east coast" style pizza becuase this thing is actually worse than the cheese pizza you got in high school or little ceasers it's literally a cardboard pizza no cheese and sauce is minimal at best. And to top it off they're charging 17 bucks for a medium which is grossly over priced for what you're getting you are better off going to Forno's downtown for that price. The Philly sub suprsingly was really good. It had a decent amount of meat and melted cheese but the pizzas so far have been disappointing.

As a pizza-lover, or someone that has ‘problems’ with the amount of pizza they eat (according to my wife), the art of crafting a pie is serious business. Dough, sauce, and toppings for example, they are the prerequisites of that perfect slice, the whiff of deliciousness from that cardboard box in the car on the way home Fortunately for me, EC Pizzeria is local, friendly, and has great pizza, sides, and more (have you tried the Philly cheesesteak rolls?). Therefore, I can unequivocally state (something I rarely do) that EC Pizzeria is (and has been for ~6 months) the #1 pizza palace in Columbus (yes, I have tried them all in the name of science).
