Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in Columbus

Gave this location three chances and that’s it. The sandwiches are pretty decent but the service has been disappointing and indifferent.

First time I went, music and TV and noise are all jacked up so loud that the girl at the counter was missing what I was ordering, so I raised my voice and she immediately got hostile with “I HEARD you, SIR!” I immediately said I wasn’t mad and that’s I just was speaking up to be heard. But it put an edge to the rest of my interaction. Why does the volume of everything there have to be so high?

Last two times I went, I speak in normal tones and as a result they get my order wrong, this last time making me late for work waiting for it to be remade.

Why do I have to nearly yell my order three times and come off sounding and feeling like a jackass just to order my meal? And they say every sandwich comes with mayo/pickle/tomato...yet it seems hit or miss that they do this. Once I honestly forgot to say I didn’t want them but luckily they didn’t put them on, the next time I made sure to say I didn’t want them but boom, they got put on anyway and the kid says sorry that’s on the sign. They don’t even follow their own rules here.

After receiving our 2 combo orders and returning home we realized that both of our orders were wrong in every way. We drove back to the Graceland location to receive a refund or have them correct their mistakes, mind you this was all in a 15/20 minute time frame. Steve(employee/manager) made my husband dig through the trashcan by the register to retrieve the receipt from the order we placed 15 minutes prior because we needed the receipt to get our money back! The food is pretty good but the place is terribly run. The older lady up front has no idea what she's doing she can't help the other employees. The guy in the kitchen is the only one who seems to know how to do anything but it's like he's alone so good takes forever to get out. I walked in with 4 other ppl in here they were all waiting for their food and by the time the first person finally got theirs he had waited 15 mins and it was the wrong order because the lady wrang it up wrong so he had to get a refund and was understandably upset. Took me 20 minutes to get my order to eat at the restaurant don't see myself going back...
