China Express — Restaurant in Columbus

Went with some friends on Thursday August 4th for my first time. Ordered the Habachi Chicken with fried rice and a chicken egg roll. The Habachi chicken had a very good flavor. Loved the broccoli and zucchini in it. The fried rice was yellow rice. It reminded me more of Saffron rice than fried rice. The egg roll was vegetable not chicken and taste was okay. They do not have a drink machine. You get a bottled drink out of the cooler. I did not particularly care for that. Got an order of fried dumplings for the table while they good they were not the dumplings I am used to. These dumplings had bbq pork it tasted like inside. My friends really enjoyed their food. It felt more like a restaurant setup for take out than eating in. Would order from them again but probably...

Well… we were craving Chinese. When we arrived at lunch and we were the only customers we were curious but they had the standard Chinese restaurant menu so we figured it would be basic American Chinese restaurant. The lady mentioned the general tso was spicy and that’s what we expect with Gen tso. We got what we ordered. The general tso was red/orange but was cooked well. The flavor was not spicy but had a sweetness to it. The fried rice was plain and bland. The soups was pretty good. The portions were small but enough. The restaurant is clean. The staff friendly enough. Would have rated higher but the cook was streaming videos from the kitchen that we had to listen to at the front of the store. Still...

I've tried to continue to patronize this business because I understand businesses have bad days. Ordered delivery for my co workers and I. One of my co workers ordered from a picture on the menu and the order she received looked nothing like the picture. We were told that you can't go by what's on the picture to order. They charge extra for the little packets of soy, duck and mustard sauce that comes with the meals if you want a few more (on an already $40 order). Shrimp was over cooked in everything.I also had an egg drop soup and teriyaki sauce left off that was paid for. This will be my last bad experience at...
