Steak-Out Charbroiled Delivery — Restaurant in Columbus

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER BECAUSE THE DELIVERY WAS NOT SHOWING ONLINE AND I WAS TOLD TO GIVE THEM 20 MINS AND IT WILL BE BACK UP. THIS WAS AT 10:30AM AND I ASKED IF I PLACE THE ORDER ONLINE AT THAT TIME WOULD MY ORDER BE DELIVERED AT 12:30PM. I WAS ASSURED THAT IT DEFINITELY WOULD BE HERE ON TIME, HOWEVER THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I RECEIVED A CALL AT 12:02PM TELLING ME THAT THEY JUST RECEIVED THE ORDER AND IT WILL NOT BE HERE AT THAT TIME. I ASKED IF IT COULD BE HERE BY 12:45 HE SAID POSSIBLY BUT MAYBE 1PM. AT 1:07PM I CALLED AND SPOKE TO KATHERINE TO SEE WHERE MY ORDER WAS AND SHE STATED THAT IT WILL BE ANOTHER 30 MINS TO WHICH I ASKED WHY SHE STATED THEY ONLY HAD 1 DELIVERY PERSON AND HE WAS NOT BACK YET. KATHERINE STARTED GETTING AN ATTITUDE WITH ME SO I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER AND SHE STATED I AM THE MANAGER, SO I ASKED FOR THE SUPERVISOR AND STATED AGAIN VERY RUDELY THAT SHE ONLY HAS A MANAGER AND OWNER. I ASKED FOR THE HER TO HAVE THE OWNER CALL ME AND SHE SAID OK WHICH I AM SURE SHE WOULD NOT SO THIS IS WHY I AM SENDING THIS REVIEW. THE MORE I THOUGHT ABOUT IT MY OFFICE WOULD NOT HAVE TIME TO EAT LUNCH AS WE ONLY GET A BREAK FROM 12:45-1:45 SO I CALLED TO ASK IF SOMEONE COULD PICK IT UP AND TO TAKE OFF THE DELIVERY FEE AND THE TIP FOR THE DRIVER AND SHE STATED SHE COULD NOT TAKE THE TIP OFF EVEN IF WE PICKED IT UP. SHE STATED IT WOULD STILL BE 30 MORE MINS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT MADE THE ORDER YET. AFTER ASKING MY EMPLOYEES WE DECIDE TO CANCEL THE ORDER SO I CALLED BACK AND SHE ANSWER THE PHONE HELLO, I ASKED IS THIS STEAKOUT SHE SAID YES, I ASKED WHY WOULD YOU ANSWER HELLO ON A BUSINESS LINE?, SHE STATED I KNEW WHO IT WAS. THIS REALLY TOOK ME BY SURPRISE THAT A MANAGER OR OWNER WOULD ALLOW AN EMPLOYEE TO ANSWER A BUSINESS PHONE THIS WAY AND NOT OFFER ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I TOLD HER TO CANCELED THE ORDER AND AT THIS TIME IT WAS NOW 1:16PM AND MY EMPLOYEES WOULD NOW NOT HAVE TIME TO EAT LUNCH. THIS ORDER WAS OVER $150.00 INCLUDING THE...

In today's economy it is seldom that I go out to eat or pick up dinner . Today Nov. 8th at 4:05 I went to pick up my order that I had called in ( I had told the young man on the phone that the last time I had picked up food from there my baked potato was bad and I would need to check the one I planed to pick up ) and the "COOK" brought my food over and I told her I needed to look at it and AGAIN the potato looked like it had baked 4 of more hours and a scorched smell - so I ask the "COOK" could I get a different potato and she told me THEY HAD NONE DONE AND IT WOULD BE A HOUR - I then asked for the manager and she said sure we have another potato then the COOK said I just told her it will be an hour - they both walked over to the potato holding section and then the "manager" said it looks like it will be 20 minutes !!! Then the COOK said " you must not be hungry because it looks good to me " ......WAIT I am paying over $22.00 and have driven 20 minutes to get here and that's you remark- I simply smiled and closed the lid on my food and slid it to her and told her since she thinks it smells and looks so good and I must not be hungry then YOU EAT IT ....I left and went to Country's and spent my hard earned money there ! Will not be surprised when Steak Out closes down - they probably make more money off of there potatoes then anything else they have ..,. I suppose I'll pick myself up a bag of potatoes for what you pay for 1 single potato there and deal with the fact that I'm better off cooking it myself ! You have lost a customer of years over a baked potato . The cook may have saved you the cost of another baked potato but cost your company...

This was the worst steak place I have ever been to. I placed an order on DoorDash and they were telling me it would be more and was amazed I got a discount on DoorDash. Ok so to start with the place looks ran down and need to be shut down. They have things near the food area that shouldn’t be like a bath and body works lotion, comb and more. Then the pregnant lady that’s supposed to be the manager is rude as heck. She charged me for some onions. That should have originally came on the salad they give you this lil small basic salad that’s premade and the salad looks brown. The onions were 3.04 thats more than a whole onion at a grocery store. On top of that the pregnant lady rolled her eyes cause she didn’t want to help me she told this other sweaty guy with his hair melted to his head. And hygiene were not up to par to be in a restaurant. The “boss” walked out with a cigarette in her mouth as soon as she got done cooking my food as if she was stressed and there were no customers. The steak was literally well done when I ordered medium well. Then shrimp was so rubbery. Not to mention the rolls that are made 3 days before and stored in a clear bin were so freaking tough and stale. If you want 1start steak go here. This is not a real steak house. Really fooled me.
