Waited nearly 40 minutes and my order was still wrong. I ordered a mixed box family meal. Requested 4 wings, 4 thighs, 4 drumsticks instead of breasts. Was first told they were waiting on okra and it would be another 10 minutes. Okay, no problem. Then 15 minutes later I was told they needed to drop more white meat for the wings. I was getting aggravated because now the other items are just sitting there?
After 15 minutes I went inside. I stated it's now almost 30 minutes since I placed this order, how much longer?! She apologized and said it's almost ready. I went back to my vehicle after roughly 5 minutes. A whole other 10 minutes passed and my order FINALLY came out. I rushed home because my family was waiting on dinner. After about 50 minutes total. The box contained 2 drumsticks, 8 wings, and 2 thighs. I mean what in the entire you know what?! I was so shocked. I simply can't believe I forgot to get pictures. If you see my reviews, I normally provide pictures.
Everything was blah except the okra lol!! The chicken wasn't even crispy and the wings were 2 different browns. So they were not even cooked at the same time! Read moreReally upset with the discrimination we faced today by the manager named Tay. No one was answering the drive thru for awhile and when someone finally did, we were asked to wait. It was taking a long time so we parked. We walked in, and saw there were no customers in there. We were then told by Tay that only Door Dashers are allowed in there, which we found odd because there were no signs indicating so. We went back through the drive thru, ordered our food, and were told it would be about a an 8 minute wait for our biscuits. We pulled over to the side as directed and saw 2 people in the restaurant. We then saw a few more people entering the restaurant, looking at the menu, and nobody was directed to leave. When one of the workers came out to hand us our food, I asked if only Door Dashers were allowed in there. She said she doesn’t know anything about that and that usually, when people enter, they are allowed to order. My husband walked in the restaurant, asked that worker who kicked out what his name was. He said his name was Tay and that he’s the manager. When my husband told him “I thought you weren’t serving people in here”, he responded by saying “We were short-handed.” No apologies either. Read moreWent to the drive-thru around 2:30/3:00pm, I ordered the 3pc dark combo (all thighs), and requested for my chicken to be cooked to order, as when I went the previous day, I was told that the chicken was 'just coming up' out the grease, though when I got home, the chicken tasted old and refried. When I asked for fresh chicken, three workers spoke through the speaker, one of them saying "What?!" in a very rude and ghetto manner. "What she said she wanted!" The person stated again in a ghetto manner. I repeated my order again and than drove around to pay. I wanted to see who this ghetto woman was that had so much to say about my simple, polite request, that when I got to the window, a gentleman was there, and I asked him who was the woman saying 'what' all loud and rude. He told me she was the manager. Smh. If this is how the manager responds to customers because of a request that they ask for, than it is no wonder that she is working at a chicken shop.
