Clean Eatz — Restaurant in Columbus

Well I have not had the pleasure of going to a storefront as I live in Georgia. However, I was browsing one day and I saw this place. well the first thing in my mind was this is another random meal prep place as I was with another at that time and I can cook but choose not to. The other place was ok but I was still missing something. So I began my google search and I found Clean Eatz and I am grateful God lead me to them. When I tell you I was skeptical because of the price and I said oh well it wont kill me if it was what I wanted so I am going to try it. I ordered my food and I saw the choices and thought oh those are just good looking pictures there is no way the food could be this good frozen. I continued to purchase no catch with tax it was like $41 and some change. So I was impressed with that.

About 3 days later I got my food, so I tell you I was impressed with the packaging of the box of food I ordered. OH my excellent. I almost didn't want to trash the box. So I'm now anxious to try the food.. OH MY GOODNESS....THE BEST...I HAVENT HAD A BAD MEAL YET.

NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I AM IMPRESSED AS I AM STILL ORDERING DIFFERENT FOODS AND ALL HAVE BEEN DELICIOUS AND HEARTY AND HEALTHY. I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOU ALL DOING BUT DON'T CHANGE A THING. I'M ON MY 3 RD WEEK AND THIS HAS BEEN EASY AND WONDERFUL FOR ME TO GRAB AND GO FOR LUNCH AND THE PORTION SIZE IS JUST RIGHT.

I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO VISIT THE STOREFRONT ONE DAY BUT AS OF NOW I WILL SETTLE FOR WHAT I AM GETTING AS I'M NOT DISAPPOINTED. HOWEVER IF THERE IS ANYWAY YOU CAN PACKAGE THE SMOOTHIES I WILL BUY SOME.

I ordered 21 meals for pick up online, I had a 10% off discount but it didn’t work and charged me the whole amount equaling $139.00 I called in and asked if there was any way I could get refunded $13.90 cents, they told me no but I could get a $13.90 credit towards adding extra protein, so instead of paying $31.50 to add extra protein to each meal it would only be $17.60 When I got to the location to pick up my meals they told me they could not discount it because there was no manager currently at the location and if I wanted the discount I would have to come back in 2 days. (Which I was not going to do because 1 I needed my meals and 2 they would be going bad 2 extra days in the fridge) I asked if they could call the manager and ask for approval and they told me no they would not do that.

I am only upset because essentially I was up charged into adding protein, now not only paying $31.00 extra but not getting 13.90 off my original purchase essentially paying a combined $45.40 extra then if the discount had just worked in the first place.

Shady business practices, I usually order online from ICON meals but figured I would try them out because it could be fresher. After I eat these meals I will not be re ordering.

Kind of ridiculous to me they could have had a loyal customer that pays $556.00 a month on their meals but instead lost a customer because of not keeping...

Firstly, let's talk about location. Clean eats is located in a developing subdivision called Old Town just north of Moon Road on Veterans Parkway. The village like shoppe area can only be described as charming and serene. There is adequate parking and actual sidewalks, yay! ...I digress, sorry.

Back to Clean Eatz... I was impressed to see that there was a refrigerated section of freshly prepared meals to "grab and go". Lack of time is no longer an excuse not to eat healthy food.

I built my own bowl of salmon, spinach, brussels, red onion, quinoa & kale with chipotle ranch dressing. It was tasty and filling; the serving sizes were deceptively adequate. I will definitely sample some of the other bowl options soon.

I also ordered a "dirty peanut" smoothie. Not a fan. The 16 oz smoothie looked creamy and smooth, but was gritty and light on flavor.

There are plenty of menu options under the heading of "meltz", "flatbreads", "wraps", "sides","burgers" and "making ' muscle". Trust me. If you don't find something you like, you just don't like food.
