The Cookie Co — Restaurant in Columbus

We visited cookie co around 4:00 PM on November 5, 2025. My son and I stopped by to purchase cookies, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

The employee working at the time appeared uninterested in assisting customers and displayed poor customer service despite my polite demeanor. More importantly, I observed an issue that raised a serious food safety concern. The employee accepted my cash payment while wearing a glove and then proceeded to handle the cookies with that same gloved hand, without changing gloves or washing hands. Additionally, she touched other surfaces and cookies with her bare hand, which increases the risk of cross-contamination, and this raises a very serious health and safety risks in my opinion for customers. We will not be returning and I should have not paid for our cookies but I had already placed the order just know moving forward we will not be back this is VERY NASTY...

4-5 stars....Been here twice now and I will definitely be back!! These cookies are big and delicious!! They are $5 a piece and worth it! Had the Reese's pieces, S'mores and Biscoff. Second time I went, they were almost completely sold out 45 mins into opening and had a line before they opened...this was a Friday. The lady that was there did say some more would be ready in 10-15 mins though. Look forward to trying all the different flavors they have...lol! You should definitely go try them!!

Went back another time and got chocolate chip brownie and chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookie was like wrapped around one of those Little Debbie cosmic brownies, so there was a distinct taste difference and texture difference, I particularly would prefer them baked together like a brookie. I liked the chocolate chip part of the cookie better but still...

So, I’m going to start by saying that the place is really nice. Unfortunately, the cookies are not that good. I paid $21 for 4 cookies and only liked 1 of the 4. The only cookie I enjoyed was the Reese’s Pieces. The rest were very bland. The cake batter funfetti tasted like straight dough. No unique flavor to the cookie, just a big, plain, doughy cookie with sprinkles. Next, I tried the oatmeal raisin. It almost had the flavor of an oatmeal crème pie and I HATE THOSE! It was simply not good. Lastly, I had the simple chocolate chip with sea salt sprinkle. It was very bland, the salt was overpowering. Usually the sweetness of the cookie would balance out the salt but it had no flavor at all. Just a chocolate chip doughy cookie with salt on it. Safe to say, I will not return. I wish her well...
