So the drip coffee here is much much darker roast than I like. All the other coffees are superb. Good mix of sweetness and coffee. Now mid or even superb coffee is not what makes this spot a destination. This is a must stop by coffee house in Columbus. Up there with and perhaps better than IronBank Coffee. Certainly the desserts are tastier. They are made in-house. There is a rotating menu. You can watch them bake in the oven. Absolutely superb. I will say the cinnamon rolls are perfectly executed. I prefer mine to be a thicker fatter dough. Still very very good.

Love the location and the laid-back vibe of this cafĆ©. Not sure if they’re done decorating on the inside. But it was probably the best chai I’ve ever had. And I really love the chicken salad sandwich. It was sweet and onion-y. The prices were fabulous cheaper than Starbucks, but you get huge portions and a lot of love in everything.

Several friends spoke highly of The Brick and Mortar Cafe, so I wanted to try it out. WOW! I’m so thankful that I have smart friends. To be honest, it was a challenge to decide what to select. I finally ordered the Woodward sandwich and the German Chocolate brownie. I don’t think I could have gone wrong with anything from the menu.

The sandwich was a delicious combination of various ingredients that was a perfect combination. I love wraps and this one was tops!

Then I tried the German chocolate brownie and it was heavenly. By the way, Heather had several varieties of brownies if you aren’t a fan of coconut. But since I adore coconut, this was a real treat. The young man behind the counter even asked if I wanted it heated. He heated it to perfection. I will warn you that the brownie is large, so you may need to bring a friend or have the second portion later.

The atmosphere was nice and clean. As a food safety expert, I didn’t see any issues while I was there.

I highly recommend you giving this restaurant a try. I can’t wait to go back!

Thanks Brick and Mortar Cafe for a wonderful...

I really enjoyed my visit today. I ordered quite a bit of items, but everything came out in a timely manner and fashion. Everything was fresh and delicious. I really loved my mocha frapp , because it actually tasted like coffee and not watered down coffee like Starbucks. It was actually a true cafe for coffee and pastries as well as fresh salads and wraps . I also ordered the chicken hummus wrap it was perfect portion , also fresh veggies on there which gave it the perfect twang . I enjoyed my strawberry danish. It definitely tasted homemade and was crafted to perfection. I will be back soon and this will probably be my weekly spot from here on out. If you have not tried this place, I would 100% recommend you give it a try. ā˜ŗļø. The owner had such a beautiful and positive aura about her and was super professional I enjoyed and will completely support a small business like hers just on the fact of her services and the food that she has to offer it is really nice getting good service because it is so hard to come by now she truly is the definition of...

Brick and Mortar is so much more than a coffee shop.

It’s the warmth and comfort I get from the cookie butter latte when I’m sick.

It’s the winter sun shining through the large windows as I listen to my audiobook.

It’s the mocha I surprise my husband with when he’s having a stressful work day.

It’s the familiar corner we bring our puppy to when he’s overstimulated during the Christmas Parade.

It’s the lemon blueberry muffin that sells out before noon at our hospital gift shop. (The coffee shop sends goodies there most days!)

It’s the turkey wrap I split with my husband before roadtrips.

It’s the punch card that is hilariously passed back and forth between my husband and I.

It’s when treats are sent out for my pups.

It’s meeting other dogs while enjoying the cool fall breeze.

It’s the iced lavender vanilla latte I get on the way to work during hot humid summer days.

Thank you, to Heather and her staff, for crafting this...
