Great little store! The owners are incredibly nice people and have gone above and beyond to help me acquire parts, equipment, and materials to help meet my home brewing needs. They have also helped connect me with other brewers which has helped me to dial in some recipes. They have a large amount of kits for beginners and they have a decent selection of grains and malt extract. Great selection of hops and yeast as well. If wine and cider are your thing they also have supplies and ingredients for that ( I’m not a wine person so I don’t know everything you need). They stock plenty of adjuncts and even have supplies for draft beer. This is a smaller store and I’m very impressed with all that they have packed in the space they have. Everything I’ve gotten so far has been great, and what wasn’t in stock I’ve ordered and picked up the following weekend.

It has been over a decade since I have been into homebrewing and I decided to get back into the hobby by making some muscadine wine. I needed some wine bottles since I had thrown mine away long ago. I used to go to Joe at homebrew of columbus but I saw that he had closed down. I found West Georgia Homebrew in a Google search for local homebrew stores and boy am I glad I did.

I initially used Facebook messenger to contact them. The owner responded promptly and answered my question in great detail. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and the owner was there along with one of his "regulars". The owner was beyond friendly and tentative to my needs. Everything was priced much lower than what I had found online and in stock. I had a very enjoyable and informative conversation with the owner and his "regular". Both were genuinely nice and helpful.

I never leave reviews!!!! The owner of this company is just awesome!!! I ordered a brew kit online but went in here to get a few extra supplies. The hospitality of this family is amazing. He never tried to talk me into anything except personal experiences to help me make the best brew I could. He even offered to come over and help me just from his passion of brewing beer. If he doesn’t have it in his shop he will get the item you need within a week or sooner. Please support local and shop at places like this. Stop in here and talk and I’m sure you will not be...
