This is a delicious hole-in-the wall type place connected to a Mexican grocery store. I ordered 3 sopes (chicken, pork, and asada) and a large horchata and loved all of it. My friend got a chicken quesadilla and she loved that as well. I lived in East LA for a few years from 2010-2012 and have had a difficult time finding any Mexican food that quite hit the same as what I had here. This is exactly what I had been looking for flavor wise. I don't know what the difference is in food preparation, but places like Condados, El Vaquero, and a hand full of other places I've tried around the area just never really compared to what I had out in LA until I tried this place. That's not to say the other places are bad, they just didn't hit the spot quite the same. I fortunately don't work far from this place, so it was still pretty fresh when I got it. This may be a no-brainer, but I would be careful what items you order if you get delivery.

This place was hidden for me for all these times. Looks like a grocery store but it’s a restaurant attached to it. Went out for lunch and found out to be outstanding. The ambience is kind of crowded, people busy taking out, eating, taking order and cooking. It took few minutes for my order to be taken- another 15 minutes to prepare and I consumed it to entirety in next 20 minutes. Food was top quality, delicious and seemed authentic. Very tasty and served with perfection. The sauces kept on the table were perfect combination for the Mexican food. Overall great food. Highly recommend in the area looking for authentic Mexican food and grocery.

This was my first time coming. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and 3 steak tacos. With sour cream cheese onion and cilantro. None of them came with onion or cilantro. The steak meat was pretty good. I didn’t care for the chicken it taste like chicken for chicken noodle soup. For my first experience I didn’t like it. 😒😔

Bought tortillas today from the fridge, El Milagro brand where they were covered in a paper wrapping you cant see through. Came home to cook them and the entire package inside is moldy. Called the store and all they said was "Im pretty sure were all out". I literally bought them this afternoon, and then the person said "ok well check up on that". Sure. I liked this place before but there doesnt seem to be any accountability. Not the first time Ive found way expired food there. Perhaps the girl at the front can spend more time checking the products and less time...
