Brothers Chicken & Fish — Restaurant in Columbus

My experience was n̈ot quite what I expected 1st time there. Will not be back. Fish was greasy and dark instead of light golden brown. It taste like stale grease not fresh grease, greens was like glory greens from a can and the juice from the food was in the bottom of my bag. Whats that all about. Cake was not homemade for $5.00. Taste stale and must have came from krogers sale rack and was a small piece like krogers. Macaroni and cornbread was ok. I was also charged $13.00 for 2 perch and 2 sides. Price on menu said $12.00. Don't know why the lady charged me 13.00. Didn't add or take away anything on the menu. Lady seemed like she had an attitude stating everything was in the bag. Glad I opened the bag in front of her because my other item I purchased was not in the bag and she saw that. You don't say things to customers unless you know for sure there items are in the bag. Nasty attitude on that end too. Sorry to give this bade review but this was my experience. Please change the oil and use clean fresh oil and don't give customers stale desserts because it didn't sell the same day. Customers that can cook know the difference when food isn't right. Especially if they pay a hefty price for food. They want good service to tell others so you can get business. But now I have to talk not good about the service and food. I went to Brothers because I had several people recommend this place and I seen a lot about this place on Instagram. It is one of the few places I have been that has lived up to the hype! The honey wings are what I heard the most positive things about, and I have to say they were excellent! I also tried the lemon pepper because I was told those were also great, and great was an understatement. The wings at this place are full of flavor, perfectly crispy, and juicy. Not many restaurants can make crispy chicken wings that aren't dry, and Brothers got it right! The fry seasoning is well balanced in flavor and salt, and exactly what crinkle fries need. I also tried the Perch and Whiting, I have to say they were just as good as the chicken minus the sauce. Brothers offers great portion sizes, great prices, flavorful food, and welcoming service. My first time at the Brothers restaurant.👨🏾‍🍳👩🏽‍🍳I wanted some🐠 catfish. But most places I go to get the catfish taste muddy. So I ordered two pieces of perch and fries and the meal came with three pieces of 🐟perch & fries. I got a nice size piece of catfish🐠. The Catfish🎣 taste good even though I still could taste a little bit of the muddy taste in it this is just my opinion. The people were really nice especially the lady👩🏽 who took my order on the phone. When I arrived I had to wait maybe 4 more minutes on top of the 15 minutes.
