I recently visited Fuego, a place similar in style to Qdoba, but less busy during off-peak hours. The ambiance was casual with a chalkboard menu, though some handwritten signs gave it a somewhat low-budget feel. The service was prompt, with an employee making a meat recommendation, which I found to be just “okay” as it was different from my usual choices.
The food was tasty but had issues with freshness and temperature – it wasn't as hot as I would have liked, raising concerns about the effectiveness of their food warmers. The pricing was standard for this type of eatery, but I expected the food to be fresher and hotter for the price.
Overall, I might consider giving Fuego another try, but it's not on my immediate list for a revisit. I'd recommend it only if someone is looking for an alternative to its more popular competitors. It was a recommended spot for me, but I won't be going out of my...
Read moreLet’s taco about how good this place is. First, it’s LOCAL! It’s always a great idea to support local business. Second, if the food was mediocre, I’d still give Fuego 5 stars simply for the friendly, accurate service. Third, who am I kidding? The food is DELICIOUS! And fairly priced in my opinion. Could you go down the way and get a taco cheaper? Sure, but you could also make em at home and save even more money. Likely, the result would be a pale comparison to what they’re serving up at Fuego. Do yourself a favor and check em out ASAP. Tacos are life (at least they are for me) and I can’t say enough good things about the fresh , friendly flavors they’re serving up at Fuego. Taco Tuesday has reached a new level for me since...

Some say this is better than Chipotle, no I disagree, I'd rather eat a quesadilla with good chipotle sauce from Tropical cafe or rather Taco bell even. Small drink for large proportion. Hot sauce?..Or salsa was extremely unsatisfying, the salsa could have made this a cohesive burrito to help tie in some flavor but no it was not exciting at all. Can't say...
