I've been to this place at least 50 times. I work right across the street and the staff is always pleasant. Honestly I loved here. Then one day I ordered a chicken sandwich to go. I picked it up and walked back to my office. When I opened it and cut my sandwich in half I noticed all the bread was extremely soggy. No big deal, I can just eat the chicken, then all the crust just sort of slugged off. It was incredibly unappealing. I called the store and talked to Angela who was extremely pleasant and said she would replace it if I wanted to come in again. Since the restuarant closes at 2(or 3) I normally missed my chance to go back but a week and a day later I did. I called the store and asked the gentleman who took my order if Angela was there and examined the situation. He said he's the GM and he's hasn't heard of this and Angela isn't here today. I said no problem I can pay today and wait until Angela is working again. I order my salad and ask for "Ranch instead of blue cheese". I walk over, give the hostess my card but asked to speak to the GM because I had a photo of my food. They came back a few minutes later and the GM saw my photo and agreed it looked unappetizing. I told him I also wanted to add, that I take full responsibility because I should have checked, but I asked for Ranch with my sandwich and I was given blue cheese and I'm allergic to it- I was also going to add that it's not a serious reaction but i do get a rash in my mouth along my gum line for 2-3 days, but he cut me off and said the salad has blue cheese. I told him I saw that and that's why I asked for Ranch instead of blue cheese and he said "yeah but it comes with blue cheese, now we have to remake it" and stormed off. I told the bar tender to let the GM know he can cancel my order and I went to Adriatico's Pizza next door. Unfortunately I have become disenchanted with HangOver. They're a really good place with a friendly staff... until they do something wrong and you become an...
Read moreThis was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered takeout, but asked to eat in the restaurant because I was in between work and an eye appointment. There were other customers eating at tables so I didn’t think it would be an issue to sit down and eat. The girls working were very rude and seemed annoyed that I wanted to dine in. As I sat at the bar I noticed a strong musty stench that smelled like a mix between an under kept bar and sewage, however I tried to just eat quickly because I had 15 minutes before appointment and was very hungry. As I began eating I realized the takeout menu does not match the restaurant’s menu. The takeout menu gives an option of “tots” however they are actually sweet potato tots (which I would never have ordered). I was hoping to just get full on the Rueben sandwich but it had very little meat, and the one tot tried (before I realized it was sweet potato was burnt and heavily salted). I had to get up and track down someone that worked there because they were preoccupied with cleaning up for the day (it was 2:10ish and they close at 3:00). When I asked to just have fries instead and she was very annoyed and wanted verification from the website. Once I was finished I placed everything in the bag, wiped any crumbs , and waited for the fries (this was at about 2:30). I did not see a trash can so I let them know that I was finished. As I was walking out one of the workers called out “I guess we will clean it up!” I really tried to lead with a smile and clean up after myself because I understand that they were about to close, but I left completely offended. The food was a 2/5 because the meat that was in the sandwich was good, however, the fries tasted like old fries recooked and were over seasoned. The customer service was a 0/5. I will not return to Hangover Easy nor would I recommend this restaurant to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Hangovereasy in Columbus, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This spot is a true gem for anyone looking to enjoy a hearty and delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
The ambiance is cozy and laid-back, with eclectic décor that adds a fun touch to the dining experience. It’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or family, whether you’re grabbing breakfast after a night out or just looking for a great place to start your day.
Now, let’s talk about the food—it’s absolutely phenomenal! 🍳🥞 The menu is packed with creative twists on classic breakfast and brunch favorites. I tried their signature “Hangover Hash,” and it was nothing short of amazing. The portions are generous, and every bite is bursting with flavor. My friends ordered the “Pancake Balls” and the “Dirty Sanchez” burrito, and they couldn’t stop raving about how good everything was.
One thing that really stood out is their commitment to accommodating different dietary preferences. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, so everyone can find something they’ll love.
The drinks are also a highlight. Whether you’re in the mood for a strong cup of coffee ☕ or a refreshing mimosa 🍾, they’ve got you covered. Their creative cocktail menu adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
The service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
