DO NOT ALLOW THIS RESTAURANT TO RUN A PAYMENT SECOND TIME WHILE YOU ARE PRESENTLY IN FRONT OF CASHIER AND LOG ONTO YOUR ACCOUNT TO CONFIRM PAYMENT SUCCESSFULLY TRANSMITTED and THEN SHOW THE INFORMATION/MOBILE BANK SCREEN TO MGR A.J. (think he is mgr), this what happened: I purchased 1/2lb garlic bbq wings yesterday(12/3/22 at this restaurant used my debit card as the form of payment and a message appeared on their transaction machine as approved in the amount of $13.99. But then the female cashier (don't recall her name) said payment doesn't show up on her cash register screen as successfully transmitted). I informed her that I will log onto my bank account to verify at same time not realizing she had my card to send payment through again by that time, I successfully logged onto my account and showed a display of mobile account transactions listing $13.99 twice for the Happy pizza restaurant, this screen was shown to A.J. maybe he is the store mgr (not sure). This person said to me one charge is for pre-authorizing and other charge is actually what will be charged. I informed him the other transactions from merchants are not listed twice. He refused to remove it and I had to INCONVENIENTLY contact my bank today, on Sunday, to remove the DOUBLE charge. My advice to customers if this happens to you do not allow them to run a second payment if you already log onto your account and you confirmed the charge already went through. HE (MGR) SHOULD HAVE REMOVED THE DOUBLE CHARGE AFTER HE WITNESS THIS FROM MY MOBILE BANK APP!!!! And chicken is precooked (frozen food) and reheated nasty nasty nasty....never...
Read moreI purchased a pizza for a female, she claimed this was the only pizza place that deliver to her apartments on the Westside should have stopped right there! A guy named Shawn answered the phone asked for the address to see if they deliver there, I give him the address come to find out it should be way out of their delivery area but no biggie, I give him my new card info exp, 3 digit code he assured me even if they got the receipt no-one could use your card fraudulently, OK! Definitely sounded sketchy, the next day I get fraudulent charges on my card, I call back to the pizza place immediately I'm getting hustled over the phone, I'm told that wouldn't a couldn't happen there and that I should call the police and report it to them, and call your bank you'll get your money back definitely happened and through my investigation I found out the guy Shawn G. was the girls boyfriend so the whole thing was a setup! When I asked to speak to the owner, now Noone knows who the owner is now they can't give out employees names when all I asked for was her manager's name, now she has a contract and it states not allowed to give out employees names someone should tell her there's a huge difference between manager's and employees! But I know she's covering for the guy Shawn that originally took my order! I would advise anyone stay clear of this place! And Definitely don't use your card over the phone! Every employee in there is a scammed even the delivery driver Scott is in on it!...
Read moreTHIS IS FOR SAVY SLIDERS, not Happy Pizza. Same building so that’s the confusion.
WOW!!! What a hidden gem! This place has some INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS sliders! We had the ribeye sliders with sweet potato fries, and a three piece chicken strip box. The sliders were piled high with juicy ribeye and A-1 sauce, you get two and they are SUPER delicious and huge! There were a great big serving of fresh sweet potato fries, hot and crispy! The chicken strips/fingers were huge, juicy, crispy, fresh!! Waaay better than Cane’s! Yes for real. This was some really satisfying food, and plenty of it.
I’m not normally on that section of West Broad St but now I will be! We will have to try the Happy Pizza part of the building but let me say we will be back to try other sliders.
The service was great, too; friendly and fast but let me say this the food was very fresh and hot so it’s not super fast which is FINE!! The extra minute or two was worth the hot fresh delicious food! So glad I...
