I always come here and the food is always delicious! Today I came for lunch with my family just for it to be a terrible experience!!! Me and my family ordered the feast for 1 and 2 , we asked for the egg yolk on the side, just for it to be on our chicken! Not making a big deal about it we still gladly took it just for the chicken not to be done!!!!! My chicken was submerged in the sauce so I couldn’t tell it was undercooked until I bit into it! It was gristle like… I immediately told the chef that it wasn't done just for him to tell me that if the meat shreds on the inside it’s done. There were 3 different households at the table and literally EVERYONE complained about their chicken. I’ve never seen a table where no one barely touched their food, and to top it off my chicken was already mixed in with everything else so I couldn’t skip around it! A complete WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I asked for a manager and since the dining room “closes at 3” he was gone by the time I asked for him! We paid for the meal but no one even offered to compensate us, ask how our meal was or take a complaint for that matter! I don’t think we will be returning….We’ll definitely give our business to someone else who will appreciate their customers and fix...

April 01, 2016, 9:43 PM - The waiter failed at taking orders correctly and i was okay with it. Easy fix! However, when the Chef came out he didn't speak, he seemed Agitated, he made a smiley with cooking oil and begin rushing to cook our food, he wasn't entertaining, the food wasn't prepared correctly "no season, lemon, no butter except for our rice, he cooked the chicken and shrimp together and separated the two afterwards. My daughter is allergic shell fish! We never expect the chef to mix the two. I asked for my steak med-well and it was well done. The chef cooked food for my party of four and two take out orders within 13 minutes. Thereafter, the chef served the food and didn't divide the food equally, failed to give my child bean spouts, never offered egg yolk sauce; talked stuff the whole time. This guy was very disrespectful and out of line. We were so upset i never touched my food and we asked for to go boxes because we didn't want to sit there and eat. The waiter apologize repeatedly and the manager never acknowledge use. Upon leaving we could hear the chef talking stuff about us to coworkers. This guy completely ruined our family night out! Poor customer service and total waste of $80.00 i'm...

Ichiban Hibachi on Georgesville is one of those spots that never disappoints. Every visit feels like a treat — the food, the service, and the value are all consistently impressive. The prices are really reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions you get. One of my personal favorites is their clear soup — it’s light, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I always go for a double serving instead of the salad because it’s just that good.

My usual go-to order is the steak and shrimp combo with their egg yolk sauce, which is absolutely amazing and adds such a rich, buttery flavor to the meal. On my most recent visit, I decided to switch it up and try the scallops for the first time, and I was definitely not disappointed. They were cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and seared just right.

The hibachi chefs are always entertaining and friendly, making the dining experience fun from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, Ichiban always delivers. Great food, great prices, and great vibes — it’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the...

I was told Ichiban was a great JAPANESE restaurant. Never been there till yesterday. VERY clean inside. Was greeted at door. Only waited 10 min, to be seated. Girlfriend and I ordered dinner for 2 , steak, lobster, chicken, cooked vegies, fried rice, I ordered some saki. Cold not warm. Saki was very cold and tasty. Food was cooked in front of party of 4. I think low salt and low salt sow sauce. Should be. Used in preparation of food. All the food was wonderful. But too much salt. I would still go back to eat here. But would ask the cook. Cut the salt. And am out of food per person WOW nobody finished there meal. I ate 3/4 of mine. So everybody took Doggy bags home. I will say. If you go home not FULL!! There's something wrong with you. So come to Ichiban AND ENJOY YOUR STAY. AND THE TASTEY FOOD.

My family visited Ichiban Japanese Steak House tonight and we had a great experience. We ordered crab rangoon and chicken wings as appetizers and all four of us ordered different variations of the hibachi entree (portions were very generous). All of the food was tasty! Our chef, Tom, was sociable and skilled at doing the food tricks Japanese steakhouses are known for performing. Our waitress and the other staff were friendly and attentive as well. I especially appreciated this level of service as we were the last customers of the night, arriving exactly an hour before the restaurant closed. I feel we received just as good of service as we would have earlier in the day.
