Taqueria La Donita — Restaurant in Columbus

I've been coming here to get burrito's for awhile when I shop at Saraga and the food is excellent. I more so look forward to getting their food than buying groceries. They use fresh ingredients and create home made hot sauces that compliment the food nicely. Clean place, the staff is friendly including the owner. With every burrito there is also pickled onions and sliced cucumber with the dish. Tastes authentic and there are always people coming to get their fix.

The plated full meals are also delicious with good portion size. I can't sing enough praise about this place. Delicious, good price point for what you get and a friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more.

Passing through the area on a work trip, we chose the taqueria based on how close it was to the highway.

I ordered Chicken Fajita Burrito, Guac and Chips... The chips. Freshly fried tortilla chips. Heaven. Two sauces on the table, both great. Burrito was stellar, hefty with minimal rice. It was all just so tasty and well proportioned. Leagues beyond your normal chain Mexican restaurant.

If you aren't willing to accept the food court atmosphere, you don't deserve the authentic treats. I'm trying the horchata when I come...

Got the kids Chicken Quesadilla w/ fries and Chorizo Chimichanga. The portion sizes were great and this was the best chorizo I've ever had hands down. Every bite was packed with so much flavor and the green sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness and spice. This place is a MUST try. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
