A couple of weeks ago we decided to order from this location again. We have ordered in the past and have always been treated well by them. This time things weren't as good. We ordered almost a hundred dollars worth of food so imagine how we felt when our taco pizza was delivered and it had no taco meat on it. The pizza cost us 17 dollars. I contacted our local BBB and the problem was resolved because they offered us a replacement. The very next weekend we decided to order again. After speaking to Cheryl Thompson over the taco pizza issue we really didnt think we would have any more issues but boy were we wrong. We not only ordered the taco pizza again , we also ordered their double meat subs again since those were okay the last order. The taco pizza was made right and we were happy with it. This time when we started eating the subs there was a sour bitter taste to them. I couldn't tell what it was until I pulled the sub apart to find out. It was the ham on the subs. It did not taste anything like ham and the taste was so bad that even after spitting it out the taste stayed with us for hours. I felt I'll for hours afterwards and I didnt eat much of it. When I tried texting Mrs Thompson over it she wouldnt respond to me at first so I called the store so that they wouldnt serve this ham to anyone else but all I got from the store is called a liar. When Mrs Thompson finally got back to me all she had to say was they had no complaints and that if I would have called the store they would of made new ones. I then reminded her that I did contact the store and I told her their response to it. I even offered her the remaining sub so she could test it or taste it herself but she said nothing to that. I told her I did not want them to remake it and I was only concerned about people getting sick but they did not share my concern. They thought so little of what I was saying that they did not even bother to check the ham to see if what I was saying was true or not. I have never seen a food place that showed no concern for food safety the way this place has. I would not order from them again EVER because now I cant trust any food that comes from there. I know mistakes can be made but to ignor a food item that can make people sick is just unacceptable and inexcusable. The way this was handled and the way they treated me spoke volumes about this place . I did notify the health department but I'm sure they made sure things were good by the time they got there so be careful when ordering from here. Look at the Columbus health departments website on Joseppis. They get visited by them more than most places and they have had alot of issues concerning food...
Read moreI am giving a star due to I use to order them every weekend when I lived in Westgate. We moved 4yrs ago an we usually drive out 15mins to pickup.... Last 2 orders have been pretty bad, 1st one, we decided to order a trio of fried food, found out it was baked and cold not good what so ever. Called and was suppose to have a credit. A month later called order and said something manager inside said no credit and doesn't remember it. Well of course you don't it was a month or so ago. No biggie I ain't pleading a Credit. Get a pizza and sub, sub was alright pizza was horrible it was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted it was so greasy..... so greasy it soaked through pizza box and yes the white liner inside box. Pizza was not cut well at all, but NO PROBLEM we ain't be eating anyways. They were not understaffed with about 10 people inside working. NO POINT IN CALLING WE AIN'T GETTING A CREDIT AND I AIN'T DRIVING ANOTHER 15 TO REPLACE AFTER A LONG WORK WEEK. SO YOU GOT A WHOOPING 16EXTRA BUCKS, BUT TO LOSS A CUSTOMER. WELL...
Read moreReading the majority of these reviews is quite perplexing. Either people actually enjoy the food at Joseppi's or I just had an experience uncharacteristic of the establishment. I ordered delivery from the Hilltop location a couple of weeks ago after just moving to the Westgate neighborhood. I just now deleted the confirmation email from my inbox, which reminded me to write a review. Maybe in the area, people have low standards for a pizza and other Italian food. Or maybe it's just ignorance to the subject of what good food is. However, if you are Italian, and/or from an Italian neighborhood or city with good food, avoid this place like the plague. Crust too thin, toppings too think, pizza cut in ridiculous little squares, and the wings are soggy. Maybe it's not a typical experience for the place, however I am willing to bet it is. Joseppi's can really use some guidance in the art of pizza making. Hell, I would be willing to teach them just to have a decent place nearby to order a...
