KFC — Restaurant in Columbus

Hailey, a supposed manager here, ruined any chance of me returning to this location. I received a messed up order in the past, and the man in charge that day went above and beyond to correct it. However, yesterday I went and ordered a large side of wedges in addition to my meal. After this, I drove 25 minutes away to my destination, only to find that about 1/6 of the wedges were edible. The rest were hard as rocks. They must have been refried numerous times to keep them warm. I called this location and unfortunately, I got Hailey. I asked when they opened tomorrow because I wasn't driving back 25 mins for a refund that night. She told me a refund was out of the question, but she could replace my order, as long as I brought back the hard wedges. I told her I didn't want anything else to eat from there again, just my money back and she said I was being rude and hung up on me. I called back, asked why she hung up, and she said I was harassing her and hung up again. Haily did NOTHING to listen or fix the error that she made and I wasn't going to inconvenience myself more than I already had. I'll be getting in touch with corporate about this because it's a shame that people like Hailey on 161 is who KFC allows to...

I certainly hope that today was an off-day for this location.

The staff seemed to not care about customer service.

Myself and one other person who came in behind me waited a minimum of 5 minutes before anyone would run register.

There were a number of people behind the scenes, and two of them even walked past the registers without acknowledging us or calling someone to the registers... But we still had to wait.

While there, after we finally got our food, my sons and I CLEARLY heard the non-work related 'discussions' which included the phrase "you need to put your shoes back on".

The restrooms were rancid, as if not tended for quite some time, and the place wasn't busy at all. Any of the numerous workers should have been cleaning.

When we left our table, we found our tray was sticking to the table. The mess wasn't even stuff we ate, so it must have been on the bottom of the tray they gave us.

My youngest wanted to ring the bell like the one near our place.. But there wasn't even one... Not that I would have let him ring it..

We don't visit this area very often, I'm pretty sure we're not going to visit this...

We decided on getting a meal out to celebrate my birthday weekend by getting an order of chicken here and I am sorry I did. We ordered the $20 fill up meal. For our money we received dried out biscuits that were hard as rocks, no honey, (specifically asked for honey when ordering) no butter, and the mashed potatoes were runny! The wings had about 2 oz. of meat on them and the legs around the same. The coleslaw wasn't tangy like I remember. Perhaps they have changed the recipe? If KFC truly believes that it has the lead on the best chicken they are surely living under a rock! We were disappointed and if we could there would be a zero rating on this establishment. The lady at the window was polite and I appreciate that but the food is below sub par and with the COVID-19 here for awhile and restaurants needing our support they will have to step up and still deliver quality food otherwise why should we try to support them?
