Update: It has been a month and the regional manager promised to call me back and follow up. A fake apology is not needed. What they are responding below is just to save face and just to show customers there care but they do not. I never received a call from regional manager Kano. What Tim did as your store manager was unacceptable. Then to get someone to call me because they are black is worse. I called for an update but he, Kano, is not answering his calls. I will move in another direction. This cannot happen again. To anyone and it is not just about me it is for everyone who has contacted me with the same issues.
*I wished we lived in a world where discrimination didn’t exist but unfortunately we don’t . I just left King Claw Columbus - Juicy Seafood & Bar COLUMBUS , GA LOCATION.
I went in planning to get a boil but opted on getting a key lime pie for $8.72 . I realized they didn’t take apple pay . I was on the phone with my sister asked to use her card because I left my wallet at home . The server checks me out . Not even five minutes later the owner of the store comes and tells me YOU AND YOUR SISTER ATE HERE LAST NIGHT YOU NEED TO LEAVE AND NO LONGER WELCOMED IN MY STORE . I replied with huh i’m sorry . He raised his voice and says YOURE NOT WELCOME HERE LEAVE LEAVE NOW YOU ATE HERE LAST NIGHT. I told him i have never ate in your facility before only on doordash, what are you talking about . He tells me to leave then walks off . I’m so confused I repeated I have NEVER ATE IN YOUR FACILITY. I am a business owner and I am not a thief .
He then comes back and says he’s training his employees to check IDs on cards being used . I said that’s fine I understand that. He told me as a business owner I should know that. I said sir I understand that’s not an issue . It’s what you said to me.
He then states two of his employees spotted me eating there last night and I had on a mask . I replied sir once again I HAVE NOT ATE IN YOUR FACILITY. I DONT EVEN HAVE A MASK ON . Do you really think I came in here today to steal A KEY LIME PIE FOR $8.72 ? I told him you should have led with asking me if I ate there last night but you didn’t . You saw a black woman and decided to yell at me to leave your facility IN FRONT OF AN ENTIRE RESTAURANT… I’m a business owner preparing for Law School do you really think I would risk everything I worked for to steal then come back and order a pie .
I TOLD HIM TO RUN THE CAMERAS AND CALL THE POLICE … PLEASE ! He did not care to confirm. It was completely embarrassing in front of the entire restaurant at that!
I WILL NOT BE ENDORSING THIS RESTAURANT ANY LONGER .
The regional manager Kano KC said he would call me back. He had someone else call me named Brianna from an Albany store (not even affliated with Columbus GA) stating shes black and they don’t understand so she told them she would call me because she’s black. Excuse me ? . I’ve yet to hear from either and they have not responded...

My inaugural visit to King Claw was nothing short of a culinary coronation! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a regal atmosphere of warmth and hospitality fit for royalty.
The staff at King Claw treated us like honored guests, their smiles as welcoming as the aroma of freshly cooked seafood wafting through the air. Their attentive service elevated our dining experience, making us feel like monarchs of our own feast.
As we settled into our seats, the enchanting melodies of perfectly curated music filled the air, setting the stage for an evening of merriment. Before we knew it, the rhythm had captured our hearts, and we found ourselves dancing in our chairs, swept away by the infectious beats.
But the true jewel in King Claw's crown was undeniably the food. Each dish that graced our table was a masterpiece of flavor and craftsmanship, served piping hot and bursting with freshness. The showmanship of the host only added to the spectacle, infusing our meal with an extra dash of excitement and flair.
Even the youngest members of our party, initially skeptical of straying from their beloved chicken fingers, were lured in by the tantalizing aroma and irresistible flavors of the crab and shrimp offerings. Before long, they were devouring every last morsel, their taste buds awakened to a world of new culinary delights.
And let's not forget about value. Despite the lavish spread laid before us, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, ensuring that our royal feast didn't leave a dent in our coffers.
In conclusion, King Claw reigns supreme as a must-visit destination for seafood aficionados and families alike. With its welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, mouthwatering cuisine, and toe-tapping tunes, it's no wonder this establishment wears the crown of culinary excellence. Long...
Read moreWe had a rather odd experience here. We were there celebrating my birthday and the hostess was incredibly rude from the start. She made us wait 5 minutes before seating us for no apparent reason, she wasn't preparing a table, waiting for a clean table or open seating or service staff. When we were finally seated, she sat us in a very busy area that was incredibly loud, when my partner asked of there was a table that would be quieter she looked at us as if she couldn't believe our nerve, then responded with "it will be another 5 minutes" and waited for us to accept those conditions. She then told us to return to the waiting area and she continued to socialize while making us wait. She eventually made her way back to us after several minutes and sat us with dismissive passive aggressive attitude. This first face gives me enough reason to never return. So unwelcoming and unattractive for a business. The food left something to be desired. The crab didn't break, the shells tore, they were so soft and limp. I've never seen that before. They serve everything in plastic. They give you wrapped cheap plasticware and no crackers or crab splitters. No paper towels, just the cheap napkins with your wrapped fork. Mind you, this is a $50 dinner.
I'm not sure why this location has higher reviews, between the service, the atmosphere, and the food, its a hard pass for us and should be...
