Latte Columbus — Restaurant in Columbus

Terrible service per usual. But today probably the worst it’s ever been. I was there before the cafe was busy with my 3 kids. Ordered my stuff to go besides two of the orders. We watched others get their food and drinks. We were there with plenty of time and it was raining. We waited for such a long time I was ready to go with the kids so I put them in the car thinking of course by now my food should be ready. They hadn’t even started it! Not that they told me but I overheard it. So I told them I would like a refund instead. They refused and said it would be ready shortly. The owner was there and said nothing nor apologized. They then proceeded to talk about me when I sat down to wait even longer for it. Absolutely terrible. Nothing makes you feel worse than that and I did nothing wrong. I was not rude or angry. I just wanted to get back to my kids who had been waiting in the car and we were ready to go. Very unprofessional for all of them, including the owner. There were plenty of workers as well to help but they were all busy talking. We have spent a lot of money there but not anymore.

I asked for a refund and all the ladies said was well it’s only got three 3 minutes and I wasn’t offered a refund, it wasn’t like I had an option but to wait. I did not want to wait any longer because at this point I had waited an HOUR for my entire order not 25 minutes. I understand getting calls but I placed my order before theirs and shouldn’t have had to wait an hour for mine because others came after it. My best friend and I met there today for lunch. We hadn’t been in about a year or so. We were the first to arrive with about 3 people inside dining, using the Wi-Fi, or drinking a joe. First the table was dirty, I asked nicely for a rag to clean the table, which the staff looked annoyed that I asked and stated they would clean it. They did promptly and half heartedly. Then we ordered our food before the crowd. My son and I got our food. My friend and her daughter didn’t even though we ordered the same time. She waited at least 10 to 15 minutes and her food never came. She got up and asked for her food and they “couldn’t find her order” and all looked confused. While we waited for her food to be made I ordered a green tea frappe. The cashier forgot to give me my 3 dollars back. Which she was super sweet. Then my friend received her food while I waited at our table for my drink. In the mean time the table of four older women order got their food and one of the orders was wrong and one didn’t get their meal at all. I witnessed this all. I couldn’t imagine if this place was actually busy. My tea never got made and sat on their bar for pickup. My friend finished her meal and so did her daughter, which took a good 15 to 20 minutes. I walked up to the counter and the cashed said oohhh your frappe which I asked for my money back. I commented quietly and honestly on the service and our experience which I got no feed back. I’m giving a one star for the service and wait time! I went to the drive through and ordered a Mexican salad and lemonade. The guy told me it would be about 5-10 minutes and to pull around and park right in front and someone would bring it out when it was finished. I sat there right in front of the door for 35 minutes. It was lunch rush so I was trying to be patient. But Finally I was beyond frustrated and very hungry so I went in and waited about 5 more minutes before anyone even came to the counter. I asked them when my salad would be ready as I was told about 10 minutes and I’ve been out there waiting for over 30 minutes. The guy who took my order comes back to the counter with my box and says oh I couldn’t find you so your order has been sitting here. I told him I’m not sure how you couldn’t find me. You told me to park up front and I was right at the front door…y’all didn’t even come outside and look. All he said was oh, sorry. I walked out because I didn’t want to make a scene over the wait time. I wish the staff was more attentive to the customers but instead they were playing and joking behind the counter. Not one person said hi, welcome. They all just stared at me when I asked why my salad had just been sitting there. Only one girl was working on food and there was one guy running the window and 3 other women talking at the food prep area.
