I have tried this location several times on my trips to Houston and it has always been disappointing! I stopped by once again the other night just to get a burger. This location advertises one price on their drive-thru menu, and then they charge more once you get to the window after waiting forever in line! The difference in price may not bother a lot of people and they simply pay it and move on, but it is just the principle of being charged more than the advertised price that I find to be a deceptive way of treating customers. I asked for the manager, and I requested that she please honor the advertised price on their menu board. She was not only rude but refused to make the situation right whatsoever. She stated that she could not give me a discount, but I was not asking for a discount. I was merely asking to be charged the advertised price that I agreed to when I ordered the burger from their drive-thru menu. That is only fair, but she treated me like I was making up the price and being unreasonable. Despite being the manager, she has never bothered to walk outside and actually look at the drive-thru menu board to see the advertised prices for herself. I am not sure how someone like this gets to be a manager because she obviously has no customer service skills nor cares about keeping customers happy by doing business the honest and fair way. She would rather throw away a burger her staff took time to prepare and treat a customer poorly instead of honoring her mistake of not updating the restaurant menu to whatever expensive prices they are now charging people. Her horrible attitude and awful management skills has certainly lost me as a customer, and hopefully this review will let many others know that she definitely does not care about keeping customers happy and providing repeat business for the restaurant they are paying her to manage! Read moreColumbus, TX location 5/16/21 around 3:00p. WORST Whataburger in Texas! Staff are clueless and don't care. Ordered 4 simple items, 3 meals and 1 sandwich only. Was charged for 4 meals and my husband did not realize it; in fact, he asked if the 4th cup was for water, the lady said "Yes". We noticed several folks enter and fully order after we did and receive their orders (these were not online orders being picked up either). I finally approached the counter, after waiting 20 minutes, and asked where our food was and I saw 4 items wrapped on a tray just waiting for fries - it was.our order of course and the lady that had been delivering food outside and to tables inside just shrugged. They added fries to the tray, finally brought over our food and the food was luke warm at best, despite fries literally being dropped at a constant pace since we entered. The ladies bathroom had one out of two toilets working and overall was not clean. The fry guy was wearing gloves and he kept using hand sanitizer on his gloves hands, while switching from one task to another, as he would occasionally perform other tasks while waiting on fries. Then, as we were leaving,they were locking up to do 'maintenance', so the fry guy had to let is out and I mentioned to him that he should be removing his gloves and performing hand hygiene between separate tasks and he just ignored me and said "Have a nice day". Read moreReligious bovine! This was the best Whataburger I've been to as far as service goes. I used the drive-thru which was very busy, however, the wait wasn't too bad. I stopped by for a quick bite on my road trip and boy was it worth it. I have terrible luck when ordering food as far as something always going wrong. My order was 100% correct, food was hot, and I was greeted with a smile. The chicken that I ordered (#14) required an extra wait due to an issue with their chicken supply but it still came out perfect. The fries were AMAZING. They were perfectly crisp and piping hot. I pulled over to eat in the parking lot, and when I was done I threw the trash away and tried to go in for the bathroom. The staff had the door locked as they were cleaning the restaurant. It is not a brand new location so it obviously wasn't the best looking Whataburger, however, the staff was the difference maker. They allowed us to use the restroom despite being closed for cleaning which was really nice of them. They also let a lady go in to purchase a drink without dining in.
