This space exists to provide individuals (and, from my perspective, particularly those without a lot of disposable income) a way to express creativity, especially in the context of promoting and supporting mental health. They were incredibly friendly from the moment I came in, offering me a tour before anything else. They were also able to help me navigate the paperwork to apply for membership, and they have both the supplies I can't afford to buy and the know-how to help me accomplish the art pieces I think about even when I only have a vague idea of "well this is what I want, how do I accomplish this?"
They also serve as a gallery to display pieces artists want to share with the world, and connect artists to art shows for greater exposure!
