I understand this is a newly opened restaurant but unfortunately there didn't seem to be any quality control in place. The salsa seemed to lack salt and other spices, the guacamole was less "guacamole" more diced avocado, onion, and tomato. The vegetarian enchiladas were cold, not warm, cold and the sauce was a bit too sweet. The nachos had maybe an ounce of cheese on them. When I asked for more melted cheese on top, I was given queso. When I said I wanted more melted, shredded cheese on top I was given cold shredded cheese. Finally they took the nachos back and added a little more cheese on and broiled it. The kids quesadilla was served on a plate so hot it could of seriously burned a touchy child. Despite all the issues, a supervisor or manager never came out to say anything and we paid the full bill plus tip. We will possibly try the restaurant in the future and hopefully update the review...

Recently opened so decided to come in on a Friday around 1pm and was seated immediately. First impression was that it seemed like it could be good. Server was friendly, food portions were big enough, and taste was pleasant. What I assume was the owner came around at least three times to ask how things were going; being that they are a new business I would say that this is a good touch. Overall, I would come back to try something different next time. Prices were reasonable too.

Food seemed to come out as it was ready vs entire table together. Took maybe 20-25 minutes for first plate to come out. Not a big deal but didn't expect it to come out like this. Table combined we had the choriqueso, tacos, carne con chile, quesadilla, and burrito. Everything was seasoned well and service was good. Place is worth a visit but don't take my word for it, go try...

First time here. We came with friends, recommended by another friend. We were seated and ordered our drinks and appetizers. We waited way too long for anything we ordered. Couldn’t eat our food when it finally did come out because we had no silverware to eat with, no sauce/sides that we asked for. Food was not bad, but wasn’t great. We had to ask for refills. Service was lacking, buss boy was quicker than servers to bring out what we needed. Would not recommend this restaurant if you want quality food in a timely manner. I can say that they weren’t rude about anything. So...

Ordered the enchiladas, it was a solid meh. Nothing special, I've had better in the area in Alabama. Unfortunately, it didn't come with rice and beans, but that's my fault. Normally in Texas it's standard, not so much in this part of the south. The menu looked super beat up and they charge for soda refills after your first refill. I have NEVER encountered this before in my life. The drinks fairly expensive as it is, why charge.... The salsa was OK and they gave me a 10% off military discount. Paid $17 after giving 20% tip for what you see.

Tried Los Compadres recently and it did not disappoint. The pozole was flavorful and comforting—perfectly seasoned with tender pork and all the right toppings. Also had the caldo de res, and it was just as satisfying: hearty, rich broth with perfectly cooked veggies and beef that fell apart with a fork. You can really tell they take pride in their cooking. Great spot for authentic, homestyle Mexican food!
