Okay: so, when my wife was still with me, we saw this place and since we always liked going to new places to eat, used to stop by to see if it was open. It was not, all the times we stopped. I just stopped looking every time I drove by. But today I saw a "NOW OPEN" sign out by the roadway. I whip the VW around and pull in. Nobody's there. Of course, it's 3:30 in the afternoon...restaurant 'dead time.' Usually shift changes, side work, prepping for evening meal, etc. I'm greeted by the Owner. He tells me they have pizza, pasta... I hear 'pasta.' I stop him. "Alfredo?" Oh yes, he says. I say, "Well, if you can't make a good alfredo, that says everything about your place." He brings out this excellent garlic bread appetizer. So good! 20 minutes later: Chicken Alfredo! So, the alfredo looks great! Smells great! HUGE portion on a 10" plate! ...you can see the butter! I'm ready for mushy disappointment. First fork-full: OMG!! Best...BEST alfredo I've ever had. So freaking rich I could hardly eat 5-6 fork-fulls! Oh, also came with more (larger) slices of garlic bread, which were also perfect. So, talking to Mr. Ramos, he tells me EVERY order is cooked TO order-he makes the pasta TO ORDER...which explains the perfect aldente texture and excellent flavor...so his food takes a little longer. Oh, yeah-total bill was $12.15. I have enough left over Alfredo for lunch and maybe dinner tomorrow. GO NOW! He just got his liquor license and will have a stocked bar soon and will be having Happy Hours from 1-5 in the evening!! Half-price everything! I asked him if he had room for me to put...
Read moreFood was great 👍 The service was less than desirable! Went there Sunday afternoon, got there around 4:30 p.m. The music was soo loud you couldn't even have a conversation with anyone because of the music! They had accent lights that was like a concert! No napkins. The waiter was wiping down tables and chairs and when tried to get a refill of tea for my wife I had to about scream at the waiter to get his attention he got rood and told me " don't holler at me"! And we had already asked them twice to turn down the music to no avail!!!! We were the only people there! We will probably never go back!!! All we wanted was to go out to eat some good Italian food after work! The music was soo loud that when it came time to pay our check you couldn't even hear what the cashier was saying!!!! And he was...
Read moreWe were met very enthusiastically at the door. The service was exceptional. The garlic bread with your meal is absolutely delicious. Lasagna was cooked perfectly. The sauce is neither too sweet nor too heavily seasoned. They did bring oregano and red pepper flakes in shakers and it definitely was a good enhancement. It was really good either way, I tend to like more seasonings in my food. I love that the kept the lights off. I can only imagine how harsh it would be if they were all on. I think they are working at creating an atmosphere, just think it can get even better. Definitely will be back and can't wait...
