UPDATE: I am changing my review to 4 stars after trying it again after over half a year. They seem to have increased the amount of matcha used, so now it is just right and you can taste the matcha well! However, I noticed prices have also gone up, and at $8 for a matcha latte w/ vanilla, this is still more expensive then other places in the city of comparable quality.

Despite all the beautiful pictures I’ve seen, I could barely taste the matcha at all as others have mentioned. I’ve tried the matcha einspanner, matcha latte, and pumpkin cream matcha. For $7.50 per drink, I was expecting much better quality. Was quite disappointed that the only thing I could taste was the milk + cream. The milk also seems more watery/cheap, and not as good quality as a lot of other shops. It is very small and stuffy inside, so it's definitely more of a grab and go...

I got the salted honey matcha and it had a really amazing flavor, but it was toooo salty. I could have used half of the amount of salt! They do have a good variety of different matchas on the menu, and they even have a chai and I think a regular coffee drink if you're with a friend who doesn't love matcha. If it wasn't so far away, I'd love to go back and try every one.

The inside of the shop was really tiny and cramped with the amount of people in it, so it's not a place you'd want to go hang out, but the wait wasn't too long so it was okay.

I really loved the fact that the matcha is made right in front of you, it makes it a more fun experience and you can see exactly what they're putting in your drink.

This place is very hidden and you will probably not find it unless you hear of it elsewhere. It’s unfortunate because it is very good. Inside is very clean but tiny with no ventilation, so it can get hot in there with a lot of people. There are a couple of tables inside if you want to enjoy your matcha indoors. The employees inside are very professional and take pride in their work. They made the drinks carefully and even wiped down the rims of the cups so they were presentable. They use authentic matcha and make it in front of you so you can learn how it’s made while you wait. The flavors were fantastic.
