I absolutely love historic St. John Arena, a very historic arena on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The arena has true character with tons and tons of black and white photographs from many Ohio State sports dynasties from the past
I remember when the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball played here under coach Fred Taylor, Eldon Miller, Gary Williams,. The Value City Arena is the new home and is a great place, but it just lacks the character of St. John Arena. (which is understandable)
I've seen many concerts at St. John Arena as well, and there really is not a bad seat in the house, based upon the seating arrangements. The most popular event still held at the arena is the Skull Session, the pep rally before football games. Definitely visit St. John Arena if the opportunity...

It's free, and you get a chance to hear the coaches, players, and TBDBITL speak and rile the crowd up before the home games. Make sure that you aren't carrying a purse or a book bag, else they will not let you into the arena. The policies that apply at the Shoe, apply for the arena as well. The arena gets hot hot hot when the weather is still warm outside, so expect to sweat a bit if it's...
